  • Patent number: 11590298
Abstract: An inhaler for facilitating inhalation of dry powder includes a body defining an interior space and a mouth piece. At least one annular member is positioned within the interior space and is rotatable with respect to the mouth piece. The at least one annular member includes a plurality of compartments. Each compartment defines a cavity configured to hold dry powder. Each compartment includes at least one flap and an opening configured to release the dry powder when the at least one flap is reconfigured from a closed position to an open position. The at least one flap covers the opening and inhibits the dry powder from being released from the cavity in the closed position.

  • Patent number: 9987440
Abstract: Disclosed herein are inhalation devices and methods for storage and release of substances in powder form such as a drug. The inhalation devices can include a plurality of powder chambers for storing a respective dose of a preloaded powdery substance, and an uncovering device for dispensing one dose at a time. The inhalation devices can include an advancing mechanism is arranged to feed the dose ring one powder chamber at a time. The powder chambers can be oriented in the surface of the dose ring and at least one seal is arranged to seal the powder chambers. The powder chambers can be uncovered or opened to at least a portion of an air channel, and the content of the powder chamber is exposed to, and can pass through, the air channel by means of an air flow.

  • Publication number: 20160144140
Abstract: The invention relates to a disposable inhaler intended for single use and for substances in powder form which comprises a preferably elongated shape body arranged to, at least partially be inserted in the user's mouth, including one or more air channels arranged in the shape of the body, that a foil is arranged with inlet holes and an outlet holes in connection with the air channels, that a substance in powder form is placed in the air channels, that the foil is arranged to, in the inhaler storage mode, cover the inlet and outlet holes and thus prevent the substance in powder form to fall out of the inhaler air channels, and that tape is removable to be able to use the inhaler and when it is removed exposes the inhaler in-and outlet holes and thus facilitates that the substance in powder form, which is placed in the air channel, can leave the air channel using the airflow that occurs when the user inhales, through the inhaler.

  • Patent number: 8096064
Abstract: A method for drying lumber in a short time with less use of energy. The method of drying lumber includes: enclosing lumber in a batch container having a pressure release valve; filling fluid into the batch container under pressure; maintaining a temperature and a pressure at or above a critical point of the fluid for a certain period of time; and then opening the pressure release valve of the batch container to reduce the internal pressure to atmospheric pressure.

  • Patent number: 5074968
Abstract: An apparatus for stripping starting sheets of the present invention comprises stripping rods which are horizontally disposed at positions opposite to the right and left sides of both surfaces of a mother board, which is stripped at the upper end and is suspended and transferred by a trolley conveyor, so that they can be inserted into the stripped upper end when the mother board reaches a predetermined stripping position; elevating members which respectively carry the stripping rods through attachments so as to upwardly and downwardly move the stripping rods at small distances from the surfaces of the mother board between an upper position above the stripped upper end of the mother board and a lower position under the lower ends of the starting sheets; and a driving member for upwardly and downwardly moving the elevating members in synchronism with each other.
