  • Patent number: 6497300
Abstract: A motorcycle includes an integrated locking system. The locking system actuates a seat lock from the main switch as well as a handlebar or steering lock. The steering lock is structured such that an overlap of components results in a locking pin passage that extends into a locking pin chamber. The locking pin passage is substantially shielded by a labyrinth defined by overlapping components. The main switch is positioned forward of at least one gauge and a meter cover surrounds at least the gauge and the main switch as well as covers at least a portion of the fuel tank.

  • Patent number: 4682300
Abstract: By using a low-frequency component of attitude data of an uncorrected image resulting from scanning the ground by means of a sensor mounted on a satellite, low-frequency distortion correction coefficients are calculated. By using a high-frequency component of attitude data, a change rate is calculated. From said low-frequency distortion correction coefficients and said change rate, distortion correction coefficients covering a high frequency are calculated. By applying bidirectional resampling to the uncorrected image by using said distortion correction coefficients covering a high frequency, a corrected image is obtained.

  • Patent number: 4658429
Abstract: For the preparation of a tree structure recognition dictionary, a feature set at each node of the tree should be the feature giving the largest discrete distribution number. When elements of an object are classified or divided into categories, if the number of combinations of subgroups, which are discrete, is the largest, the classification is the most effective. This classification is effected, when the distance between distributions for a certain feature is larger than a predetermined value.

  • Patent number: 4442485
Abstract: A data input/output system is provided for transfer of data between a large capacity data source and a large-capacity memory. The data input/output control information is supplied from a processor. If the actual time between input/output information units from the large-capacity data source is shorter than that time determined by a program in the processor, an interruption signal is generated to be in time for the input/output timing of the next input/output data unit. The system permits continuous data transfer switching from one input/output data unit to the next input/output data unit without use of the program in the processor.

  • Patent number: 4049957
Abstract: A dual computer system comprising a pair of computer systems and a dual system controller for monitoring the results of the operations by the computer systems. When the results of the operations coincide with each other, such results are applied to an external output register for process control, while when there is non-coincidence between the results of the operations the operation of the computer systems is interrupted and both the computer systems are checked with a diagnose routine for detection as to whether the operation is normal or abnormal. In the system, a status register is provided so that the computer systems can read the content of the register before being placed in independent operation. The main and subsidiary computer systems read the content of the register with different timing so that they may not arbitrarily deliver their outputs to the external output register due to malfunctions of the dual system controller.
