  • Patent number: 11924196
Abstract: A communication terminal includes a memory in which identification information associated with a user is stored, a controller that carries out authentication of the user, and a communication interface that transmits a signal including the identification information. When user authentication is successful, the controller sets the communication terminal to a first state in which the signal is transmitted to an external apparatus, and when user authentication is not successful, the controller sets the communication terminal to a second state in which the signal is not transmitted to the external apparatus.

  • Patent number: 11875765
Abstract: An electronic percussion instrument and a hitting detection method are provided. The electronic percussion instrument includes: a head of which an upper surface is formed as a hitting surface; a body part, which is cylindrical and has an opening at an upper end side, the opening is covered by the head; and a plurality of head sensors provided on an inner peripheral side of the body part and detects a hitting on the hitting surface. The plurality of head sensors are in contact with a lower surface of the head in an area in which a distance from a center of the hitting surface is 50% or more and 75% or less of a radius of the hitting surface.

  • Publication number: 20220319475
Abstract: The disclosure provides an electronic hi-hat and an operating method of the electronic hi-hat that can improve the feeling at the time of hitting. Since an edge portion of a bottom frame is formed in a flat plate shape, the weight of an outer edge portion of the bottom frame can be reduced. As a result, even if a hit top cymbal comes into contact with the bottom frame, the weight of the outer edge portion of the bottom frame is less likely to hinder the swinging (displacement caused by the hit) of the top cymbal. Therefore, the feeling at the time of hitting the top cymbal can be lightened, so that the feeling at the time of hitting can be improved.

  • Patent number: 10147409
Abstract: Provided is an electronic percussion instrument that is capable of simulating a playing technique for an acoustic percussion instrument. A tubular body part is opened on an axial end surface, and a head is attached to the axial end surface to be struck on the front surface. A capacitance sensor includes an electrode that generates a capacitance with respect to a detected conductor, such as a human body, positioned on the front surface side of the head. Because the capacitance sensor detects a change of a capacitance corresponding to a distance between the electrode and the detected conductor, whether the detected conductor approaches (contacts) the head or presses the head can be determined. As a result, the playing technique for the acoustic percussion instrument is simulated.
