  • Publication number: 20230315117
Abstract: A mobile body control device acquires sensor information for recognizing an object around a mobile body, the sensor information including a captured image, sets one of a plurality of control modes, and controls traveling of the mobile body based on the set control mode and a result of detection of a specific person based on the sensor information. In a case where a first mode is set, the device controls the traveling of the mobile body in such a way that the mobile body travels together with the specific person when the person is walking. In a case where a second mode is set, the device controls the traveling of the mobile body in such a way that the mobile body moves to a point designated by the specific person before starting the first mode.

  • Publication number: 20230315130
Abstract: A mobile body control device acquires captured image for recognizing an object around a mobile body, sets one of a plurality of traveling modes, and controls traveling of the mobile body based on the set traveling mode and a result of detection of a specific person based on the captured image. The plurality of traveling modes includes a standby mode of standing by at a specific point until any one of the traveling modes is started or resumed. In a case where movement of the specific person or movement of the mobile body satisfies a predetermined criterion to wait while being away from the specific person, the device shifts from one of the traveling modes to the standby mode.

  • Publication number: 20230315131
Abstract: A mobile object including a first sensor configured to detect a target object in surroundings, recognizes and sets a user; acquires a predicted path indicating a future path of the user that has been set, based on a movement of the user and an output from the first sensor, and generates a path of the mobile object to lead the user on a forward side of the user, based on the predicted path; and causes the mobile object to travel in accordance with the path that has been generated, and upon detection of a change in a moving direction of the user, based on the output from the first sensor, modifies the generated path to cause the mobile object to move to the forward side of the user in accordance with the moving direction that has been changed.

  • Publication number: 20220283636
Abstract: A calibration device for calibrating line-of-sight detection processing based on an image of a face of a user includes an instruction unit configured to instruct the user to look at each of a plurality of positions, and an acquisition unit configured to acquire, for each of the plurality of positions, the image of the face of the user looking at each position. The instruction unit is configured to, when giving an instruction to look at a position that is not in front of the user of the plurality of positions without moving the face, give an instruction to look in front of the user each time a position at which the user is instructed to look switches from one position that is not in front of the user to another position that is not in front of the user.

  • Patent number: 9167117
Abstract: An update program is acquired in a main body device from an external device, a generation of noise from a noise generating source that has possibility to generate noise to a communication between the main body device and the slave device is suppressed, and after that, a slave device update program is transferred from the main body device to the slave device in the second communication method (second communication speed) which is faster than the first communication method (first communication speed).
