  • Publication number: 20240152078
Abstract: An image forming apparatus including an image forming unit, a fixing unit, a reading unit, a reference member, and a controller is described. The image forming unit forms an image and a detection image on a sheet. The detection image is used for detecting geometric characteristics of an image to be formed on a sheet by the image forming unit. The fixing unit fixes the image and the detection image formed by the image forming unit on the sheet. The reading unit reads the detection image on the sheet. The controller adjusts geometric characteristics of the image to be formed on a sheet based on a reading result of the detection image by the reading unit, and controls the reading unit to read the reference member and executes shading correction based on a reading result of the reference member.

  • Patent number: 6234498
Abstract: A service cart comprises a box-shaped body formed of panels, and stores trays mounting tableware in the interior thereof. The side wall comprises a honeycomb panel 12 and a surface material 70, and on the rim portions thereof are mounted rim members 72. The rim member 72 is formed by joining together a first rim member element 73 and a second rim member element 74 being contacted to the outer side of the panel. When damaged, only the damaged second element 74 may be replaced.

  • Patent number: 5754949
Abstract: An outdoor unit of a transmitter-receiver apparatus notifies an indoor unit of normal operation by transmitting an unmodulated carrier to the indoor unit via a cable when operation is normal, notifies the indoor unit of an abnormality by transmitting a monitor signal, which is obtained by modulating a carrier by alarm data, to the indoor unit when operation is abnormal, and restores the carrier to the unmodulated state at recovery from the abnormality. Further, the indoor unit transmits an unmodulated carrier to the outdoor unit via the cable if it is unnecessary to send a control signal, and transmits a modulated control signal, which is obtained by modulating a carrier by control data, to the outdoor unit via the cable if it is necessary to send a control signal. As a result, phase noise and the characteristic of spuriousness in the vicinity of the local oscillation frequency are unaffected even if the unmodulated carrier leaks into the reference frequency signal system.

  • Patent number: 5479136
Abstract: An automatic frequency control circuit which can set a local oscillator synthesizer to a small frequency division number, without requesting the exact required frequency. The automatic frequency control circuit includes a voltage source for producing a desired voltage to offset the oscillation frequency of a voltage controlled oscillator, and an adder for adding the output from the voltage source to a frequency control signal of the voltage controlled oscillator. The automatic frequency control circuit is applicable to the receiver for a satellite telecommunications apparatus.

  • Patent number: 5028761
Abstract: A heating system heats casseroles placed on trays on a passenger plane. The heating system includes heating plates vertically arranged at regular intervals to receive the casseroles between adjacent heating plates to heat each casserole from above and from beneath. The heating plate includes a ceramic plate, a heating element buried in the ceramic plate, electrodes projecting from the ceramic plate, and a reinforcing frame. The heating plate is attached to the inner surface of a side wall of a cabinet. The junction of the heating plate and the side wall is sealed in a water-tight manner. The heating system is connected to a power supply by connecting a receptacle connector fixedly provided on the cabinet, and a plug connector elastically supported on a fixed part of the galley of the passenger airplane so as to be vertically, horizontally and axially movable.
