  • Patent number: 11635512
Abstract: An electronic device includes a controller that performs control to enable switching between a first band mode such that a transmission wave is in a first band and a second band mode such that the transmission wave is in a second band broader than the first band. The controller performs control to switch to the second band mode when an object is detected within a predetermined distance in the first band mode.

  • Publication number: 20220034995
Abstract: An electronic device detects an object reflecting transmitted waves based on transmitted signals transmitted as the transmitted waves from transmitting antennas and received signals received from receiving antennas as reflected waves obtained by reflection of the transmitted waves. The electronic device determines that the object have been detected when the peak in the result obtained by performing a Fourier transform process on the beat signals generated based on the transmitted and received signals is equal to or higher than a predetermined threshold value. The electronic device sets a predetermined threshold value based on an object detection probability.

  • Publication number: 20210041531
Abstract: Provided is an electronic device comprising a controller configured to control so that a first mode in which the number of antennas used for transmitting a transmission wave and receiving a reflected wave is a first predetermined number and a second mode in which the number of antennas used for transmitting a transmission wave and receiving a reflected wave is a second predetermined number that is larger than the first predetermined number can be switched. The controller controls to switch to the second mode when the object is detected within a predetermined distance in the first mode.

  • Publication number: 20210025970
Abstract: An electronic apparatus includes a controller configured to control switching between a first mode in which radiation of transmission waves is directed in a first direction and a second mode in which radiation of transmission waves is directed in a second direction downward from the first direction. When a predetermined status is detected in the first mode, the controller performs control to switch to the second mode.

  • Patent number: 8553613
Abstract: In a base station device 12 of an OFDMA mobile communication system, a frequency band storage unit 22 stores multiple frequency bands allocatable to mobile station devices, respectively, in association with predetermined conditions related to communication quality. A communication quality acquisition unit 37 acquires communication quality in communication with each of the mobile station devices. A frequency allocator 24 selects any one of the frequency bands from the frequency band storage unit 22 on the basis of the communication quality acquired by the communication quality acquisition unit 37, and notifies the mobile station device of channel information indicating the selected frequency band. Then, the mobile station device communicates with the base station device 12 in the frequency band indicated by the channel information notified by the frequency allocator 24 in the base station device 12.
