    Abstract: A vehicle pillar garnish mounting structure has upper and lower retainers attached to the pillar. The pillar garnish has side edge flanges that are engaged with engagement parts at corresponding sides of the retainers. The retainers have an elongated block shape with U-shaped cross-section. The lower retainer has a hook unit that engages a cooperating part on a side edge flange of the pillar garnish to secure the pillar garnish to the hook unit.
