Abstract: An MD cartridge storage case 1 is constituted by a storage case body 3 and a cover 15 openably/closably provided on the storage case body 3. An index sheet 40 inserted into the storage case body 3 with the cover 15 opened is brought into contact with a stepped portion 4b provided at the front edge of a bottom wall portion 4 of the storage case body 3 so that index sheet 40 is disposed in a predetermined position. The index sheet 40 is fixedly held when the cover 15 of the storage case body 3 is closed. Therefore, it is possible to provide a superior disk cartridge storage case in which not only an index sheet can be easily disposed in the storage case, but also the index sheet can be prevented from easily coming off therefrom.

Abstract: A MD cartridge encasing case includes a box-shaped body having a space for receiving a disc cartridge therein and an inlet opening which is in communication with the space and through which the disc cartridge is to be introduced into the space. The box-shaped body includes a main case body and a closure member which is enabled to open and close relative to the main case body. It is possible to place an index sheet in a cartridge receiving space by opening the main case body and the closure member relative to each other, and fix the index sheet in the cartridge receiving space by closing the main case body and the closure member relative to each other. The encasing case is enabled to readily receive the index sheet therein and prevent the received index sheet from slipping out.

Abstract: An upper fabric feed device for a sewing machine, including a feet reciprocating mechanism for reciprocating feed and presser feet for feeding the work fabric on a throat plate. The reciprocating mechanism includes a first swing arm pivoted by a drive device, a pivotally supported parallel motion mechanism, a drive link mechanism which pivotally connects the first swing arm to the parallel motion mechanism, a pivotally supported second swing arm, a first connecting link pivotally connected to the parallel motion mechanism, a triangular lever connected to the first connecting link and second swing arm, and a second and a third connecting link connecting the triangular lever to the feed and presser feet, respectively. The parallel motion mechanism is supported pivotally about one of four apexes of the parallelogram defined by four motion links thereof.

Abstract: Herein disclosed is a control unit for providing seam length control of a sewing machine which comprises: a main shaft; a sewing needle in accordance with the rotations of the main shaft for forming stitches in a work fabric which is placed on a work supporting surface so that it may be sewn; a feed dog for feeding the work fabric while passing a sewing point of the sewing needle; a work feed mechanism including a feed bar for carrying the feed dog and a feed shaft for supporting the feed carriage, the work feed mechanism being adapted to impart motions in a feeding direction to the feed dog by the reciprocating rotations of the feed shaft in accordance with the rotations of the main shaft; and mechanical adjusting means interposed between the work feed mechanism and the main shaft for adjusting a feed pitch of the feed dog by changing the reciprocating stroke of the feed shaft.
