  • Patent number: 8475003
Abstract: Substantially cylindrical supporting units are formed at both sides of a lens. The supporting units are to adjust the separation distance between the lens and the surface of a substrate depending on the height dimension of a light emitting diode mounted on the substrate from the substrate face when the lens body is fixed to the substrate. A cylindrical convex part is formed at a part of the tip face of the supporting unit in a concentric fashion relative to the supporting unit, and a cylindrical positioning unit is formed at a part of the tip face of the convex part in a concentric fashion. The positioning unit functions as a member for positioning when the substrate and the lens body are fixed to each other.

  • Publication number: 20130027943
Abstract: A lighting apparatus includes an LED provided with a light-emitting device and phosphor excited by light emitted from the light-emitting device to emit excitation light. A shielding part (for example, a mounting part (a base surface) of the LED and an erecting part) is provided in a region where light with chromaticity different from chromaticity being visible due to the light from the light-emitting device and the excitation light is radiated, the shielding part shielding the light with different chromaticity among lights radiated from the LED. The color unevenness caused by the illumination of the light with different chromaticity is reduced.

  • Publication number: 20110310626
Abstract: Two partition plates are opposite to each other on a rectangular body frame along the longitudinal direction of the body frame. A power-supply unit, a connection terminal, grips, etc., are juxtaposed with LED modules in a compartment defined between the partition plates. Further, the LED modules are mounted in the compartments defined between each of the partition plates and each of the longitudinal edges of the body frame. Namely, two groups of the LED modules are juxtaposed on the body frame so that the power-supply unit, the connection terminal, and the like are provided between the two groups of the LED modules.

  • Patent number: 6587023
Abstract: An electromagnetic induction device having a flat configuration that requires a relatively small space for installation on a circuit substrate includes a flat bobbin (1T) having a length (D1) smaller than a radial size (D2) thereof has primary and secondary windings (11, 12) wound thereon. This bobbin (1T) has coaxially aligned throughholes (20, 22) defined therein into which core legs (24T and 24T) of generally T-shaped first and second core pieces (23T, 23T) are inserted from opposite directions, respectively. Respective core arms (25T, 25T) of the first and second core pieces (23T, 23T) extend parallel to each other.

  • Patent number: 6552313
Abstract: A high-frequency heating apparatus is designed to maximize the input current while securing a uniform margin relative to the cutoff current, thereby enabling maximized and efficient output of high-frequency waves. The high-frequency heating apparatus includes: a power supply unit; an input current detector; a power converting unit for converting the power from the power supply unit into high-frequency waves; an inverter controller for controlling a semiconductor device; a magnetron for radiating electromagnetic waves; and a circuit for implementing negative feedback control, in the inverter control circuit, of the output from the input current detector. The apparatus further includes a control circuit having a microcomputer for outputting signals to the inverter controller so as to control the input current such that the input current characteristic of the high-frequency heating apparatus will approximate the current cutoff characteristic of the overcurrent circuit breaker with respect to the elapsed time.

  • Patent number: 6297593
Abstract: A boosting transformer for a high-frequency heating apparatus includes an insulation member, and a primary winding and a secondary winding formed at the insulation member and mutually isolated by the insulation member, each winding having a width and a thickness as measured when the winding is stacked, the width being smaller than the thickness. As such, the boosting transformer can be reduced in height to readily ensure a distance for insulating locations having therebetween a large potential difference from each other in the transformer's internal structure in designing a structure in which the transformer is attached to a high-frequency heating apparatus. Thus the boosting transformer can be attached to the high-frequency heating apparatus at a location less restrictively and such designing can be facilitated.
