  • Patent number: 10437642
Abstract: A management system includes an interface device coupled to a computer system including a plurality of resources including resources of a plurality of resource types and a processor coupled to the interface device. The processor allocates, to a tenant environment, a resource of a resource type, which is different depending on an XaaS (X as a Service), among the plurality of resources including resources of a plurality of resource types and provides a plurality of tenant environments including a plurality of XaaSs. The processor manages, as low-order resources, resources lower in order than the resources allocated to the tenant environments, among the plurality of resources including resources of a plurality of resource types. When receiving a resource change request, the processor executes change processing on at least one of the low-order resources among the resources managed as low-order resources.

  • Publication number: 20120079139
Abstract: When checking whether or not the connection-destination port of a cable that is connected between apparatuses is correct, notification is made to a user by a control apparatus. The control apparatus identifies a second port that is the correct connection destination of a target first port, which is a check-target first port of multiple first ports, identifies a second port, which is connected via a cable to the target first port, and determines whether or not these second ports are the same. In a case where the result of this determination is negative, the control apparatus causes the second display apparatus to execute a display with respect to the second port that is the correct connection destination of the target first port.

  • Publication number: 20120016971
Abstract: At least one second I/O switch which a plurality of I/O devices is coupled to is coupled to at least one first I/O switch to which a plurality of servers is coupled. A configuration in which all servers that are coupled to the first I/O switch can be coupled to all I/O cards that are coupled to the at least one second I/O switch that is coupled to the first I/O switch is executed. The controller receives the specifications of a server unit and an I/O device unit that is to be coupled to the server unit. The controller executes a setting in which at least one I/O device that configures the specified I/O device unit is allocated to at least one server that configures the specified server unit to the second I/O switch to which the at least one I/O device is coupled.
