    Abstract: The embodiments of the present disclosure provide an optical assembly and a liquid crystal display device using the optical assembly. The optical assembly has a simple structure and low cost, and can realize a high color gamut display. The optical assembly comprises a first substrate layer, a second substrate layer, and an optical fiber layer arranged between the first substrate layer and the second substrate layer. The optical fiber layer is composed of a plurality of optical fibers arranged closely in a single layer. A plurality of adhesive blocks in contact with the plurality of optical fibers are arranged on a surface of at least one of the first substrate layer and the second substrate layer. At the contact regions between the adhesive blocks and the plurality of optical fibers, total internal reflection in the optical fibers is inhibited by the adhesive blocks.

    Abstract: The embodiments of the present disclosure provide a backlight module and a display device, which increase the brightness range of the lateral entrance backlight module, thereby improving the HDR display effect of the display device. The backlight module in the embodiment of the present disclosure includes at least two lateral entrance light guide plates, each lateral entrance light guide plate is provided with a light bar. The number of light bars of the backlight module is increased, thereby increasing the maximum brightness of the backlight module. The overall brightness variation range of the backlight module is thus increased. In addition, the light bar of each lateral entrance light guide plate can be separately controlled, thereby increasing the brightness range of the backlight module. Therefore, the backlight module provided by this solution can effectively improve the HDR display effect of the display device.

A fixing member covers the ear parts of the plurality of optical films, such that the optical film set is fixed on the frame, and the fixing member can fix the relative positions among the plurality of optical films in the optical film set. In the backlight, the optical film set is reliably fixed without affecting the normal display on the display device.
