When the first lens is at the second position, the first light ray passes through the first lens. The head-up display can implement switching between a single image plane and a plurality of image planes.

The projection method includes: obtaining image information and position information of a calibration object; projecting the calibration object based on the image information and the position information of the calibration object and an imaging model; and when an overlap ratio between the calibration object and a projection plane of the calibration object is less than a first threshold, adjusting a parameter of the imaging model. According to this application, an image projected and displayed may be aligned with a real world, which improves a projection display effect.
