    Abstract: A side airbag device 1 having a tensioned tether 5 is attached to an outer surface of the airbag 2 on a side facing an occupant. The tether 5 has a shape with a front edge 5a vertical length a longer than a rear edge 5b vertical length. The front edge 5a continuously extends in a vertical direction along a front end 2c of the airbag 2 between upper and lower parts when deployed. The rear edge continuously extends in the vertical near a rear end 2d of the airbag 2 between the upper and lower parts. The front edge 5a joins in the vertical direction to the airbag 2 front end 2c, and the tether 5 moves in an oblique direction having a vertical and horizontal direction components in a state of being pulled in an oblique direction inclined to the vertical direction when deployed.

The folded portion has an abutment portion (Q) folded back to a vehicle rear side from a vehicle front side on a front side of the inflator in a vehicle front-back direction along the folding line and abutted against the support surface.

The side airbag can be inflated with the thickness of the portion that protects the peripheries of the occupant shoulder and waist is small and the thickness of the portion that protects the periphery of the chest region is large. Inside a side airbag, a rapid chamber extends from a seat back region over a top region and a bottom region and tapers towards the vehicle front; a delay chamber is positioned between the top region and bottom region, and a partitioning member partitions the interior of the side airbag into the delay chamber and the rapid chamber. An inflator is provided inside the rapid chamber.

    Abstract: A shielded cable comprising two insulated wire covered with first and second metal clad resin tapes each of which has a laminated metal layer and a resin layer. The first metal clad resin tape covers the circumference of the two insulated wires by open-wrapping and the second metal clad resin tape is spirally wrapped around the circumference of the first metal clad resin tape. The first and second metal clad resin tapes are disposed while the metal layers face each other and, in the portion where the second metal clad resin tape is overlapped by wrapping, the metal layer of the overlapped one second metal clad resin tape and the metal layer of the other second metal clad resin tape are in contact with the first metal clad resin tape. The shielded cable can prevent sharp signal attenuation in a high frequency region and is easy to bend and flexible.
