    Abstract: An on-travel power supply system is provided to include (i) a power supply facility including a plurality of power supply apparatuses arranged along a traveling road, and (ii) an electric vehicle including a power reception apparatus configured to receive power supply from the power supply apparatuses and charge a battery while traveling on the traveling road. The electric vehicle is configured to acquire, from the power supply facility, a failed road segment in which power supply is disabled from the power supply apparatuses along the traveling road. The electric vehicle is further configured to calculate a required energy amount required for the electric vehicle to pass through the failed road segment, and secure the calculated required energy amount before the electric vehicle reaches the failed road segment.

    Abstract: In an electronic control apparatus mountable on a vehicle including a motor generator and a battery rechargeable by regenerative action of the motor generator, a charge determinator determines whether the battery is unable to be charged, a rollback determinator determines whether a rollback of the vehicle occurs, an accelerator determinator determines whether an accelerator pedal of the vehicle is depressed based on an amount of depression of the accelerator pedal, a motor lock device locks the motor generator when the battery is unable to be charged, the rollback of the vehicle occurs, and the accelerator pedal is depressed, and a torque commander, when the lock of the motor generator is completed, commands the motor generator to generate a drive torque according to the amount of depression of the accelerator pedal while releasing the lock of the motor generator.

    Abstract: A certain ECU transmits a reference message for requiring the other ECUs to transmit data. After transmission of the reference message, each of all the ECUs transmits priority information of its transmit message onto a communication bus, and then detects whether some priority information transmitted from the other ECUs has a higher priority than its own transmitted priority information. If there is detected no priority information of a higher priority than its own transmitted priority information, it transmits a message associated therewith, and then is prohibited to transmit data of the same priority until receiving a next reference message.
