  • Patent number: 8848003
    Abstract: Provided is a method of chromaticity adjustment of a display device including a drive circuit for generating a gray-scale signal corresponding to a video signal input from an external portion and supplying the gray-scale signal to a plurality of pixels, the method including: measuring chromaticity coordinates of an image displayed on the display device; determining whether the measured chromaticity coordinates are chromaticity coordinates within a first region that does not need a chromaticity correction or chromaticity coordinates within a second region that needs the chromaticity correction; determining, if the measured chromaticity coordinates are the chromaticity coordinates within the second region, which of a plurality of correction regions obtained by dividing the second region the chromaticity coordinates fall within; correcting the gray-scale signal corresponding to the video signal by using a chromaticity correcting portion corresponding to the determined one of the plurality of correction regions;

  • Publication number: 20100194771
    Abstract: There is provided a liquid crystal display device that can easily suppress color variation, even if there is a difference in white tolerance of the backlight. The liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal display panel to which an image signal is input, and a backlight provided on one side of the liquid crystal display panel, using a light emitting diode as a light source of the backlight. Information about the white tolerance of the light source using the light emitting diode, which indicates one rank of plural ranks assigned to the white tolerance, is clearly indicated in a portion of the backlight. The information is input to an image quality processing circuit in order to correct gamma characteristics of the image signal according to the information.

  • Patent number: 4481834
    Abstract: In a balance device for a mechanical press, a press body or frame rotatably mounts a crankshaft. A slide is supported from the crankshaft by connecting rods so that it reciprocates transverse to the axial direction of the crankshaft as the shaft is rotated. To avoid the development of an oscillating effect in the press body during operation a first gear is positioned on the crankshaft. Balancing gears are supported on the press body in meshed engagement with the first gear. Each of the first gear and the balancing gears has a balance weight for counteracting the tendency of the slide to cause oscillation and vibrations in the press body.

  • Patent number: 4294170
    Abstract: A roll feed device for feeding a material to a press in a predetermined timed relationship to the operation of the press. The device includes a pair of feed rolls between which the material is fed, one being an idle roll and the other being a driven roll. The driven roll has a drive shaft, and an intermittent rotating mechanism is operably associated with the drive shaft of the press and has an output shaft parallel to the drive shaft of the driven roll. Disks are mounted on the ends of these shafts and are in frictional engagement with each other for driving the drive shaft from the output shaft. The disks can be easily exchanged for changing the drive of the roll feed device.
