    Abstract: In an alcohol engine using a alcohol and foreign fuel having combustibility higher than that of the alcohol as a fuel, an auxiliary fuel quantity adjusting means and control means are provided so that a ratio of a quantity of the foreign fuel to a quantity of the alcohol in the fuel to be supplied to the engine upon cold starting of the engine may be different from that upon warm-up of the engine.
