  • Patent number: 8953222
Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a printer engine, a storage unit, a print data interpreting unit, and a print control unit. The print data interpreting unit interprets print data and identifies both a first job type and a second job type. The first job type specifies any one of a special print job using special toner and a normal job using normal toner, and the second job type specifies a print function to be used. The print control unit makes a decision to permit or prohibit accumulation of print data in view of security based on the first job type and the second job type, accumulates the print data in the storage unit when the decision to permit the accumulation of the print data is made, and prohibits the accumulation of the print data when the decision to prohibits the accumulation of the print data is made.

  • Patent number: 8057956
Abstract: A fuel cell includes electromotive portions, a first sheet, a second sheet, a replenishing portion and a fuel adjusting film. The electromotive portions cause fuel and oxygen to react chemically with each other to produce electrical energy. The first sheet is provided to supply the fuel to the electromotive portions. The second sheet is provided to supply the oxygen to the electromotive portions. The replenishing portion is provided at a predetermined portion of the first sheet to replenish the first sheet with the fuel. The fuel adjusting film is inserted in the first sheet to adjust the amounts of the fuel to be supplied from the first sheet to the electromotive portions.

  • Publication number: 20090081486
Abstract: A fuel cell according to the invention includes: a fuel supply section including a diffusion section configured to diffuse fuel supplied from a fuel supply port in an in-plane direction and an aperture plate having a plurality of apertures configured to emit the fuel from the diffusion section; an oxygen introducing section configured to introduce oxygen from outside; and a power generating section configured to generate electric power by the fuel supplied from the fuel supply section and oxygen supplied from the oxygen introducing section. Aperture ratio of the plurality of apertures provided in the aperture plate has a substantially radial distribution in the in-plane direction such that the aperture ratio is small near the fuel supply port and increases with distance from the fuel supply port. This enables provision of a fuel cell of the spontaneous respiration type where fuel can be uniformly supplied to achieve efficient power generation.

  • Publication number: 20070198924
Abstract: In comparison to unnecessary page generation of the prior art, the page generation time according to the current invention is substantially reduced, and the generated page is efficiently accessed. Since in response to at least one of a predetermined set of update events, a page is dynamically generated in advance of a user page request and the dynamically generated page is stored, the current invention allows the efficient page access. The use of the prior art technologies such as proxy servers in combination further improves the cost of transmission of the page to the user according to the current invention.

  • Patent number: 7194678
Abstract: In comparison to unnecessary page generation of the prior art, the page generation time according to the current invention is substantially reduced, and the generated page is efficiently accessed. Since in response to at least one of a predetermined set of update events, a page is dynamically generated in advance of a user page request and the dynamically generated page is stored, the current invention allows the efficient page access. The efficient page access is accomplished by storing the dynamically generated page as a static page at a URL identified by a page access call with an argument. Thus, the user accesses the previously generated dynamic page at a high-speed. The use of the prior art technologies such as proxy servers in combination further improves the cost of transmission of the page to the user according to the current invention.
