  • Patent number: 8588584
Abstract: An information recording medium configured to store stream information including I-picture information of MPEG and control information used to access the stream information. The stream information includes a third data unit including a plurality of second data units each including a plurality of first data units. The first data unit is defined as a pair of a transport packet of 188 bytes and a time stamp appended to the transport packet. The second data unit is defined as a data unit of stream blocks or stream object units. The third data unit is defined as an object data of the stream information. The control information includes map information including time information and position information related to the time information, and entry number information indicating a number of entries in the map information. Also disclosed are methods and apparatuses using the information recording medium.

  • Patent number: 8571389
Abstract: A digital stream signal complying with MPEG-TS is handled as stream object ESOB. The ESOB is recorded in unit of stream object unit ESOBU which includes one or more pack/packet groups. Each pack/packet group has a pack/packet group header at its head position, and stores one or more TS packets after the pack/packet group header.

  • Patent number: 8417101
Abstract: Upon playback of stream data which is recorded while being appended with time stamp information in units of packets, time management is made using the time stamp information. A video playback time viewed from the user, which may be indicated by I-, B-, and P-picture display times, is different from the time of the time stamp information. For this reason, when time management for the stream data recorded on an information storage medium is made using only the time stamp information, display time control (video playback time control) for the user cannot be accurately done. In this invention, a time relationship table indicating the relationship between the time stamp information recorded in stream data at each I-picture start time position and display time information (PTS or field information) for the user is provided to a portion of management information.

  • Publication number: 20090274446
Abstract: Stream data has a recording data structure formed in units of stream blocks (or stream object units SOBU) which are segmented to have a predetermined data size. Data are recorded (or encoded) and partially erased (or temporarily erased) in units of the stream blocks (SOBUs).

  • Publication number: 20090032231
Abstract: The stacked plate oil cooler has a first plate and a second plate. Both the first plate and the second plate are made of a three-layered aluminum alloy clad sheet. The second plate is folded at an outer rim to place the brazing material layer on both sides of the second plate. The first and second plates and are stacked alternately and brazed to define a water passage between sacrificial layers and, and to define an oil passage between brazing material layers. The first plate is folded at an outer rim to place the sacrificial layer on a lateral outside of a core assembly to decrease exposure of the brazing material layer to the lateral outside.

  • Patent number: 7373075
Abstract: An information medium which has a data area for recording stream data (SOB) using stream packets each of which includes an application packet area, and a management area for recording management information that pertains to the stream data (SOB) is used. The stream data (SOB) are distributed and recorded in the application packet areas in a plurality of the stream PES packets. When the start portion of the application packet area included in the first stream PES packet in the stream data (SOB) does not match the first byte of a time stamp appended to the first application packet in the application packet area, then information is recorded so that they match.
