Patent number: 11820334Abstract: In a vehicle wiper apparatus, rotation of an output shaft of a wiper motor is converted to reciprocal rotation of a pivot shaft, and a wiper member, attached to the pivot shaft, reciprocally rotates between closed and open positions. A nozzle, provided in the wiper member, sprays a cleaning fluid towards a front side in an advancing direction of the wiper member on at least one of forward and return paths of the reciprocal rotation. A washer pump supplies the cleaning fluid to the nozzle. A round-trip time of the wiper member is detected based on a detection result of a detecting unit that detects at least a state in which the wiper member is positioned in the closed position. The washer pump is controlled based on a detected round-trip time, and is operated during rotation of the wiper member on at least one of the forward and return paths.Type: GrantFiled: October 26, 2022Date of Patent: November 21, 2023Assignee: DENSO CORPORATIONInventors: Yuuji Matsumoto, Mitsuo Odagiri

Patent number: 6559611Abstract: At a starting of a motor which receives an electric power from a generator driven by an engine, an excitation current controller controls an excitation current so as to cause an output frequency of a generator to approach a predetermined frequency which is lower than a rated frequency when an output voltage detected by an output voltage detector is reduced to lower than a first predetermined voltage. Thereafter, the excitation current controller controls the excitation current so as to cause the output voltage of the generator to be the rated voltage when the output voltage detector detects a second predetermined voltage which is higher than the first predetermined voltage. In this way, the load capacity which enables the starting by the engine-driven generator without directly controlling the engine is improved.Type: GrantFiled: November 3, 2000Date of Patent: May 6, 2003Assignee: Satake CorporationInventors: Satoru Satake, Yukio Hosaka, Hideharu Maruyama, Yuuji Matsumoto, Kiyonori Nakaoka
