    Abstract: An acoustic instrument triggering device has a body portion that may be mounted on an acoustic or example, a drum. An arm extends from the body portion. A sensor, which includes, a transducer, is disposed in the arm and is adjustable so that the cushion portion make contact with a drum head or other vibrating portion of the instrument. A cushion portion transfers vibrations to the transducing element, which in tun transduces the vibrations into electrical signals that can be processed to form an audio signal or used to trigger other devices.
