  • Publication number: 20240159835
Abstract: A battery monitoring device is applied to an assembled battery having a plurality of battery cells connected in series, the battery cells including a first battery cell and a second battery cell. The battery monitoring device includes: an acquisition unit configured to acquire, during charging or discharging of the battery cells, a battery parameter of each of the first and second battery cells, the battery parameter of each of the first and second battery cells being a terminal voltage across the corresponding one of the first and second battery cells or an impedance of the corresponding one of the first and second battery cells; and a state calculation unit configured to calculate a difference between the acquired battery parameter of the first battery cell and the acquired battery parameter of the second battery cell, and calculate a battery state of the battery cells based on the calculated difference.

  • Patent number: 11936217
Abstract: An electric power supply system includes an electric power reception apparatus and an electric power supply apparatus adapted to supply electric power to the electric power reception apparatus when the electric power reception apparatus is placed on the electric power supply apparatus. The electric power supply apparatus includes a plurality of electric power supply units adapted to supply electric power by electromagnetic induction to the electric power reception apparatus. A selection unit of the electric power supply apparatus selects, from the total plurality of electric power supply units, a plurality of electric power supply units whose location corresponds to a position where the electric power reception apparatus is placed, and a control unit controls the supply of electric power such that electric power is supplied to the electric power reception apparatus from the selected plurality of electric power supply units.

  • Publication number: 20230333173
Abstract: A battery monitoring apparatus is provided for a secondary battery that produces a change in reaction heat at a predetermined capacity when a storage capacity changes in accompaniment with a current conduction. The battery monitoring apparatus includes: an acquiring unit that acquires, during the current conduction, an impedance change of the secondary battery; and a capacity determination unit that determines, based on the impedance change acquired by the acquiring unit, that the storage capacity of the secondary battery is the predetermined capacity.

  • Publication number: 20230318319
Abstract: A battery device has a storage unit, a calculation unit, a level shifter, and an AD conversion unit. The storage unit stores battery information including a closed circuit voltage of a plurality of battery cells electrically connected to each other. The setting unit that sets an acquisition range of the closed circuit voltage based on the battery information. The level shifter and the AD conversion unit convert the closed circuit voltage into a digital signal within the acquisition range set by the calculation unit. The calculation unit changes the acquisition range when the closed circuit voltage is outside the acquisition range.

  • Publication number: 20150207347
Abstract: A voltage measurement unit (200) measures the voltage value between both ends of each of batteries (101-1) to (101-n). A control unit (300) determines whether or not the batteries (101-1) to (101-n) are defective based on the measured voltage values, outputs the series voltage of batteries (101-1) to (101-n) as the output voltage of a series body (100-1) if there is no battery, from among the batteries (101-1) to (101-n), that is determined to be defective, and outputs the boosted voltage from the voltage of the batteries (101-1) to (101-n) other than the battery that was determined to be defective as the output voltage of the series body (100-1).

  • Publication number: 20110293996
Abstract: In a stacked secondary battery, positive electrodes 5 and negative electrodes 4, which are formed by integrally forming a positive electrode collector tab 57 and a negative electrode collector tab 47 on a metal foil positive electrode collector 51 and a metal foil negative electrode collector 41, respectively, are stacked together with separators 6 disposed in-between. The separator 6 is also disposed between the opposing parts 8 of the positive electrode collector tab and the negative electrode collector tab. A positive electrode lead 17 and a negative electrode lead 15, connected to the positive electrode collector tab and the negative electrode collector tab, respectively, extend out from the same end surface of the stack of the positive electrodes 5 and the negative electrodes 4 and are drawn out from an outer casing 3.
