  • Patent number: 10016834
Abstract: A welding torch detector including an imaging unit capturing images of a welding torch and welding wire from a plurality of directions to acquire image signals, an image recognition unit recognizing welding wire images and welding torch images based on the image signals acquired, a setting unit setting a target point corresponding to a target position of the welding wire on the welding wire images recognized, a position detection unit detecting a position of the target point in a three-dimensional space based on the welding wire images recognized, and an inclination detection unit detecting an inclination of the welding torch in the three-dimensional space based on the welding torch images recognized.

  • Publication number: 20160364367
Abstract: An information processing device comprises a storage unit for storing electronic data in ASCII format containing a plurality of line data, a display control unit for displaying electronic data stored in the storage unit on a touch screen, and an editing unit for editing electronic data stored in the storage unit so that, in response to a first touch operation performed in an area containing a boundary between two adjacent line data displayed on the touch screen, a new line datum is added between the two adjacent line data.

  • Publication number: 20160257002
Abstract: A robot system for carrying out a bending process with respect to a workpiece held by a robot, in which an arc interpolation motion of the robot can be easily and precisely taught. A user coordinate system is set so as to specify a rotation axis of the bending motion in the bending process by inputting the position and/or angle of each axis of the robot to a teaching pendant by the operator. Next, in a teaching program of the robot, a process start position and an operation form are defined so as to add a bending process command, and a rotation angle of the bending process and an angular velocity of a command line about the rotation axis are designated. By virtue of this, an internal program for carrying out an arc interpolation motion by the robot is generated in a robot controlling part.

  • Patent number: 8901449
Abstract: A spot welding system including a welding gun with an openable/closable electrode pair; and a dressing determination device determining a quality of a shaping process applied to an electrode of the electrode pair. The dressing determination device includes a visual sensor obtaining an image of the electrode, identifying a base and a tip of the electrode on the image and measuring a distance between the base and the tip on the image, by image processing; a visual sensor control section allowing the visual sensor to measure the distance immediately before and after the shaping process is performed; a cut amount calculation section calculating a difference between the distances measured by the visual sensor immediately before and after the shaping process is performed, as a cut amount of the electrode; and a cut amount judgment section judging whether the calculated cut amount is within a predetermined acceptable range.

  • Publication number: 20130284088
Abstract: A robot coating system (1) includes a robot moving unit (21) which makes a robot (11) having a coating gun (12) successively move to a plurality of planned coating positions, a readying pressure imparting unit (22) which drives a pump (13) of the coating gun before reaching the planned coating positions and imparts to the viscous material a predetermined readying pressure without coating the viscous material, a coating executing unit (23) which executes coating work of the viscous material by a predetermined flow rate over a predetermined coating time when the coating gun has reached a planned coating position, and a post-coating stopping unit (24) which continues the coating work to make the pump stop after the end of the work when executing the coating work and a stop command of the robot is issued.
