In some embodiments, the features are added to a lens that has been finished for vision correction, whereas in other embodiments the features are added to a semi-finished lens. In one embodiment, there is a device for printing lens rim features onto an ophthalmic lens, and in another embodiment there is a system for printing such lens rim features.
