  • Patent number: 10862786
Abstract: A method, device, and computer program product for fingerprint based status detection in a distributed processing system is provided. The method comprises: generating and sending, at a root node, an initial fingerprint based on the output message ID to be sent; at a middle node, generating and sending an updated fingerprint based on a received input message ID, an output message ID to be sent and a received fingerprint; sending, at the leaf node, a final updated fingerprint to a tracking task point; and obtaining, at the tracking task point, status information based on the final updated fingerprint. As the method does not generate traffic at each node but only generates tracking traffic at leaf nodes, the approach according to the present disclosure reduces tracking overhead significantly while guaranteeing the reliability of data processing.

  • Patent number: 9338817
Abstract: There is provided a system for reducing the risk of data corruption occurring in wireless systems, by reducing the risk of an un-expected disconnection occurring between a client device (20; 52, 54, 56) and a host device (20; 50). The client device monitors its own power supply, and when the client device determines that its power supply capacity is almost exhausted, the client device sends a low power notification (5; 55) to the host device. The host device receives the low power notification, and in response closes the wireless connection to the client device, thereby preventing an unexpected disconnection from occurring when the clients power supply is finally exhausted.

  • Publication number: 20090089396
Abstract: A web browser displays a web page containing an embedded script. Middleware on a web server uses a script parser to parse the information generated by the embedded script. The media file is transmitted from an Internet server or servers. The middleware sends indexable information to a database server and the downloaded media file to a storage device. The next time that a user selects the media for playback, the file is directly streamed from the storage device. The storage device is local mounted or network mounted.

  • Publication number: 20060075088
Abstract: This is a method to keep user interaction states of a web application within a user agent, such as a web browser, by recording those states into a dynamically tagged tree structure, such as the document object model (DOM) structure, which resides in the user agent memory. Active current state is the collection of the tree nodes that are tagged active and rendered in the user agent. We also describe an embodiment of such method in the context of a system with server modules to systematically create and manipulate the client-side user agents' dynamically tagged state-recording tree structure.
