Abstract: A method for producing a laminate having a structure of an organic layer and an inorganic layer laminated thereon, which comprises polymerizing a mixture that contains a monomer of the following formula (1) wherein m is 2 and a monomer of the following formula (1) wherein m is 3 or more, thereby forming the organic layer: wherein R1 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; and L represents an m-valent linking group.

Abstract: A gas-barrier laminate film comprising at least one inorganic layer and at least one organic layer comprising a polymer of an acrylic monomer as a main ingredient on a substrate film, wherein the organic layer comprises a polymerization product of a bi- or more-functional polymerizing monomer having at least one sulfonyl group. The laminate film is highly resistant to moisture penetration and applicable to flexible organic EL devices.

Abstract: A method for producing a gas-barrier laminate film comprising at least one inorganic layer and at least one organic layer on a substrate film, which comprises forming the organic layer by polymerizing a monomer composition comprising an acrylate monomer having a phosphate ester group, a monomer having a phosphate ester group or their mixture. The produced gas-barrier laminate film maintains its excellent gas-barrier property even when folded.
