  • Patent number: 8899931
Abstract: A hub is supported rotatably about an axis of rotation, and the diameter thereof increases from upstream to downstream sides along a fluid flow. A plurality of impeller blades extend radially outward from an outer circumferential surface of the hub. A shroud is formed in a cylindrical shape whose diameter increases from the upstream to downstream sides along the fluid flow and joins outer circumferential ends of the plurality of impeller blades. The impeller blades are composed of upstream blade segments and downstream blade segments bonded at a bonding surface extending in a direction substantially perpendicular to the axis of rotation. The upstream blade segments are integral with at least a portion of the shroud, and the downstream blade segments are integral with at least a portion of the hub. • Patent number: 8510093
Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes a region dividing section, an character recognizing section, a classifying section, a translating section, a calculation section and a correcting section. The region dividing section divides a document image into sentence regions. The character recognizing section recognizes characters in the respective sentence regions. The classifying section classifies the sentence regions into groups in accordance with sizes of the characters. The translating section translates a sentence into a given language for each of the sentence regions. The calculation section calculates a character size of a sentence, which has been translated for each of the sentence regions by the translating section. And The correcting section corrects a size of a translated character of each character region for every sentence region classified into the same group such that the character sizes calculated by the calculating section become equal.

  • Patent number: 8391606
Abstract: An image processing device includes a storage module, character recognition module, a circumscribed rectangle extraction module, a ratio extraction module, and a character size calculation module. The storage module stores a reference ratio between a reference size of a reference circumscribed rectangle and a reference character size in a reference character image representing a reference character in association with a reference character identification code which uniquely identified the reference character. The character recognition module recognizes a character image in an image to get a character identification code from the recognized character image. The circumscribed rectangle extraction module extracts a circumscribed rectangle of the character image. The ratio extraction module extracts the reference ratio corresponding to the reference character identification code stored in the storage module based on the character identification code.
