  • Publication number: 20230251217
Abstract: A method, in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, for testing for mastitis in a domestic animal includes the step of measuring, by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), a spin-spin relaxation time of milk collected from a quarter of the domestic animal.

  • Publication number: 20210322531
Abstract: A mucosal vaccine composition for preventing bovine mastitis, comprising: an antigen derived from Staphylococcus aureus; and a nanogel comprising a polysaccharide having a cationic functional group and a hydrophobic functional group in side chains. By administering the composition to cattle, it is possible to enhance the titer of an antibody against Staphylococcus aureus immediately after the contact with the bacteria in the udder, and prevent the bovine mastitis.

  • Patent number: 10434608
Abstract: Lead-free solder is characterized in that the lead-free solder contains Ag of 1.2 mass % through 4.5 mass %, Cu of 0.25 mass % through 0.75 mass %, Bi of 1 mass % through 5.8 mass %, Ni of 0.01 mass % through 0.15 mass % and Sn as the remainder. These addition amounts allow to be further improved the common solder properties such as wettability, shear strength properties and the like, in addition to the thermal fatigue resistance.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 21, 2014
Date of Patent: October 8, 2019
Assignee: Senju Metal Indsutry Co., Ltd.
    Inventors: Ken Tachibana, Yuya Nagasawa
  • Patent number: 10012649
Abstract: The object of the present invention is to provide an early mastitis detection method that can detect mastitis easily and quickly when compared to the prior methods and also a biomarker to be used with the method. The object can be solved by a method of examining a mammary gland disease by using the level of cyclophilin A in a mammary gland or in milk as indicator. More specifically, the object can be a method of examining a mammary gland disease comprising steps (1) and (2) listed below; (1) a step of detecting cyclophilin A in the milk collected from an udder or an udder quarter of a subject and thereby determining the cyclophilin A level in the milk; and (2) a step of determining the onset of a mammary gland disease or the possibility of onset of a mammary gland disease in the udder or the udder quarter of the subject on the basis of the cyclophilin A level in the milk.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 8, 2013
Date of Patent: July 3, 2018
    Assignee: TOHOKU UNIVERSITY
