Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are provided for adjusting screen brightness. The method may include: determining a screen brightness adjusting curve corresponding to current time, and determining current screen brightness according to current ambient luminance and the screen brightness adjusting curve. With the technical solutions provided in the present disclosure, the screen brightness can be adjusted to be most suitable for human eyes according to time; the problem of unsatisfactory screen brightness caused by adjusting a screen into same brightness according to same ambient brightness in different time periods is avoided.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for protecting an application program in a terminal device, and a terminal device thereof. The method includes: intercepting a request for starting an application program; determining whether the application program needs protection; and starting a protection interface before starting the application program, if the application needs protection. According to the present disclosure, the protection interface is launched before starting the application program when the terminal device detects that the application program needs protection, thereby protecting the application program comprehensively and thoroughly.

A network connection apparatus may select a wireless access point and generate terminal information of a terminal that is seeking network access via the wireless access point. The terminal information may include a terminal identifier and a terminal media access control (MAC) address of the terminal. The network connection apparatus may send the terminal information to the selected wireless access point, which in turn may forward the terminal information to a network provision server. The network provision server may store the terminal identifier and add the terminal MAC address into a network access white list of the selected wireless access point. The selected wireless access point may enable a network connection for the terminal in response to the terminal MAC address being in the network access white list.
