  • Patent number: 7208287
Abstract: A method for quantitating a specific component in lipoproteins contained in a biological sample, for example, HDL (high-density lipoprotein), LDL (low-density lipoprotein) or VLDL (very low-density lipoprotein) by using a commonly employed automatic analyzer without centrifuging or making the reaction liquor cloudy due to complexes or aggregates. Namely, a controlling means, whereby an enzyme reaction can be carried out exclusively for the target component, is introduced into a method for enzymatically assaying a component in a specific lipoprotein fraction in the serum, thereby specifically assaying the component.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 11, 2004
Date of Patent: April 24, 2007
    Assignee: Sysmex Corporation
Inventors: Koji Kishi, Tsutomu Kakuyama, Koji Ochiai, Yuzo Hasegawa

  • Patent number: 5039240
Abstract: In a printing device, a stationary element and a contact element for detecting an original position are respectively provided on a frame and on a gear pivotally rotating through a stepping motor. By employing an above arrangement, it is possible to easier assemble and adjust for a uniform printing quality, which is guaranteed even with a smaller size of the stepping motor.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: August 13, 1991
    Assignee: Brother Kogyo Kabushiki Kaisha
    Inventor: Yuzo Hasegawa
  • Patent number: 4780011
Abstract: A ribbon cartridge having a torsion spring having an improved noval contacting end for pressing the takeup spool against the drive roller, wherein the improved end holds the takeup reel against the roller in a substantially vertical position without any tilting of the takeup reel.

  • Patent number: 4569611
Abstract: An automatic paper loading apparatus for a typewriter provided with a platen, feed rolls, and a paper bail. The paper loading apparatus essentially includes a paper alignment member pivotally mounted on a frame, a paper guide carried by a movable carriage, and three controllers, from first to third. The paper alignment member is engaged with the leading edge of an inserted printing paper while the feed rolls are spaced from the platen. The feed rolls are urged on the aligned paper and the paper alignment member is spaced from the platen for being disengaged from the leading edge of the printing paper owing to a manual operation of a lever.

  • Patent number: 4505605
Abstract: A ribbon cartridge wherein a supply spool is continually biased so that the outer circumference of the ribbon wound thereon, is continually pressed against the inside wall surface of a case and wherein the inside wall surface has part thereof of a rough surface and of varying frictional resistance.
