Planographic printing plate with electrolytically roughened design pattern on a back surface thereof
Patent number: 5463952Abstract: A planographic printing plate in which a design pattern is realized in a part of the back surface of a support for the planographic printing plate without any adverse influence on a photosensitive resin layer on the front surface thereof. After an aluminum support with a thickness of 0.24 mm is cleaned by degreasing and etching, an electrolytic aqueous solution is prepared to contain the nitric acid concentration of 10 g/l and the aluminum ion concentration of 7 g/l. In an electrolytic treatment cell 5, the back surface of the aluminum support is arranged so as to be faced to an electrode. A 1 mm-thick masking plate formed of an insulating material punched to provided openings with arbitrary shapes is brought into close contact with the back surface of the aluminum support so that the back surface of the aluminum support is covered with the masking plate. A carbon plate with a thickness of 50 mm is used as the electrode.Type: GrantFiled: April 5, 1994Date of Patent: November 7, 1995Assignee: Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd.Inventors: Seiji Kawasumi, Yuzo Inukai -
Patent number: 5122192Abstract: An electrostatic coating (atomizing) head is cleaned by ejecting an ejected steam stream to the electrostatic coating head to remove solidified mass of a coating solution deposited thereon.Ejecting is made via steam stream supply ports to forward and rear surfaces of the coating head without interrupting high voltage applied for coating or even during the coating operation. The method is suitable for aqueous coating solution.Type: GrantFiled: October 18, 1989Date of Patent: June 16, 1992Assignee: Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd.Inventors: Yuzo Inukai, Kenji Tashiro, Hideyuki Kafuku

Patent number: 5111848Abstract: Pulsations in a pressurized fluid flowing through a conduit pipe is prevented by changing the inner volume of the pipe by changing the cross-sectional area of a flexible pipe portion in dependence upon the pressure of the flowing fluid without changing the peripheral length of the cross-section of the pipe portion thereby absorbing any pressure changes. For this purpose the apparatus comprises a tube or a hollow substantially spherical body having flexibility in at least one cross-section thereof, and a member operating as an elastic body for resiliently regulating the cross-sectional area of the inner bore of the tube or the substantially spherical body to a cross-sectional area less than the maximum cross-sectional area thereof.Type: GrantFiled: April 15, 1991Date of Patent: May 12, 1992Assignee: Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd.Inventor: Yuzo Inukai

Patent number: 4928719Abstract: A fluid-pulsation preventing method and apparatus are disclosed. A fluid is pressure-fed by means of a pump along a path, a flexible pipe is provided in the path, and the volume of the flexible pipe is externally elastically controlled. This external control is such that the sectional area of the flexible pipe is controlled in accordance with pulsation by increasing or decreasing the area depending upon variations in the amount of pulsation, to thereby absorb and prevent the pulsation. This control is achieved using coil springs and rigid plates disposed so that motion of the coil springs deforms the flexible pipe through the rigid plates. The force to be applied to each of the coil springs is set to 5 to 120 Kgf or the spring constant is 0.5 to 3.0 Kgf/mm.Type: GrantFiled: April 4, 1989Date of Patent: May 29, 1990Assignee: Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd.Inventors: Yuzo Inukai, Mitsuyuki Nakayama

Patent number: 4781941Abstract: A method of matting a pre-sensitized printing plate is disclosed. The method is comprised of electrostatically providing fine droplets of an aqueous liquid with a resin dissolved or dispersed therein on the obverse surface or reverse surface of the pre-sensitized printing plate and, thereafter, drying the fine droplets. The method is characterized in that before and/or after the attachment of the droplets the surface of the pre-sensitized printing plate is wet. The method can be continuously performed and provides a matted surface with protuberances firmly adhered to a substrate.Type: GrantFiled: April 3, 1985Date of Patent: November 1, 1988Assignee: Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd.Inventors: Yuzo Inukai, Tsuneyasu Matsuhisa

Patent number: 4647475Abstract: A method for making multilayer coating on a support, which comprises simultaneously applying multiple layers of at least two nonaqueous coating liquids on the support, at least one of the liquids containing an electron radiation curable compound, irradiating the applied layers with electron rays at a rate of 50 Mrad/sec. or less to cure them or to increase the viscosity thereof, and then drying. This method can be applied to the production of presensitized plates, multilayer photographic materials, multilayer analytical elements, etc.Type: GrantFiled: June 17, 1985Date of Patent: March 3, 1987Assignee: Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd.Inventors: Yuzo Inukai, Yasuhito Naruse, Takao Nakayama, Nobuyoshi Kaneko
