    Abstract: A vehicle driving assistance apparatus includes a control unit configured to, in a case where the control unit determines, based on radar target object information, that at least one target control object that is approaching so as to intersect with a predicted traveling path of the host vehicle is present, when a line of vision of the driver detected by a driver monitor device is not directed to the target control object that will reach the intersecting position at the earliest time, perform at least one of a host vehicle traveling suppression control (e.g., a brake hold control to prohibit the host vehicle from moving) and an attention seeking warning control to generate a warning sound so as to cause the driver to recognize that there is a warning sound source in a direction along which the target control object is approaching the host vehicle.

The processing unit are configured to determine a location of a location of a next road intersection based on the vehicle travel direction, measure a distance between a location of the regulation indicator and the location of the next road intersection, cause display of a regulation value associated with the regulation indicator on a display device to be maintained if the distance is less than a predetermined threshold value and a change in vehicle travel direction is detected, and hide the regulation value associated with the regulation indicator from the display device if the distance is greater than the predetermined threshold value and a change in vehicle travel direction is detected.

Processing unit also includes being configured to determine whether a zone condition applies based on the data, confirm a validity of the detected regulation value based on the state information, the determined regulation value, the zone condition, and an age of the data, the processing unit is configured to revoke the validity, and wherein, upon determination of a zone condition, the processing unit is configured to increase the predetermined threshold duration. The processing unit is also configured to cause the regulation value to be displayed when the validity is confirmed and to prevent display of the regulation value when the validity is revoked.
