Abstract: The reel seat for mounting a dual-bearing reel on an upper side of a rod main body of a fishing rod extends in a front-rear direction in a plan view of the reel seat. The reel seat includes a reel foot mounting part on the upper side for mounting a reel foot of the dual-bearing reel such that a handle of the dual-bearing reel is located on a first side in a right-left direction in the plan view. The reel seat also includes a support wall for supporting a palm of a hand when palming the reel seat such that the support wall provided on a second side opposite to the first side in the right-left direction, the support wall protruding to the upper side on the second side of the reel seat.

Abstract: The present invention provides a composition for assaying hydrogen peroxide having an enzyme, a buffer and a chromogen, wherein the chromogen is a sulfoalkyl derivative of a 3,3',5,5'-tetraalkylbenzidine or a water-soluble salt thereof represented by the following general formula I: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 may be the same or different and each represent a straight-chain alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, such as a methyl, ethyl, n-propyl, n-butyl, n-amyl or n-hexyl group. R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 each represent a hydrogen atom or a sulfoalkyl group of the following formula II:--(CH.sub.2).sub.n SO.sub.3 H (II)wherein n represents an integer of 1 to 6, with the proviso that either R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 represents a sulfoalkyl group and the sulfoalkyl group may be substituted with at least 1, preferably 1 to 2 hydroxyl groups. This composition has a high solubility in water and is usable over a wide pH range and for the preparation of both a test solution and a test piece.

Abstract: A testing piece for quantitative analysis of a substance in a body fluid, particularly in blood, said testing piece comprising an absorbent carrier containing in it reagents for measuring the substance and coated with a mixture of polymethylmethacrylate and polyvinyl formal. This testing piece enables the efficient and swift quantitative analysis of the substance in body fluid, especially in blood, in a short time without preliminary separating the serum from the blood.
