    Abstract: The invention provides a deodorizing article which can be used semi-permanently and maintains sufficient mechanical strength under usual conditions of use and a method for producing the deodorizing article. The deodorizing article of the invention is produced by dispersing in a medium a clay mineral having meso-pores, gypsum series, a mineral having a pore size greater than that of the gypsum series, and a white inorganic filler, and molding the formed dispersion.
