  • Publication number: 20090036168
Abstract: A transmission device includes signal synthesizer 16 that replaces the least significant bits of a plurality of transmission and reception target data that are digital signals with bit data of a desired control signal that is a digital signal, and serial signal converter 17 that converts the output signal from the signal synthesizer into a serial signal and transmits the serial signal. On the other hand, a reception device includes parallel signal converter 21 that converts the received serial signal into a parallel signal to acquire transmission and reception target data, and signal separator 23 that extracts the bit data of the control signal from the respective least significant bits of transmission and reception target data output by parallel signal converter 21.

  • Publication number: 20070222629
Abstract: The present invention provides a load impedance defect detection system for use in a CDMA base station transmitter including a base band signal generation unit (101) and a reflected signal monitor (106) for detecting a reflected signal. A CPICH power detector (111) detects a CPICH power from the reflected signal obtained from the reflected signal monitor. A return-loss determination unit (112) determines a return-loss based on a difference between a CPICH power value detected by the CPICH power detector and a CPICH transmission power set value (113) provided by the base band signal generation unit, and determines that there is a load impedance defect when the return-loss exceeds a predetermined threshold value.

  • Patent number: 7145958
Abstract: A diversity type transmitter having system for controlling the delay time of each of plural transmission units is disclosed. Detectors detect RF output signals of transmission units, and output detection signals. A comparator compares the detection signals output from the detectors and outputs a comparison signal. On the basis of the comparison signal output from the comparator, a delay amount control circuit controls delay circuits so that the modulation timing is coincident at the transmission output terminal.

  • Publication number: 20050209806
Abstract: A base station (202) receives, from mobile stations (2031-203N), notifications of transmission and reception powers thereof, which are input to a failure detecting part (218) together with the information about transmission and reception powers of the main device for the mobile stations. The failure detecting part (218) obtains upstream and downstream propagation losses of each one of propagation paths (2041-204N). When the difference between those losses exceeds a predetermined tolerance, the failure detecting part (218) determines, based on such an exceeding difference, which one of the transmitters or receivers has a failure. In this way, there is no need to provide any special circuit for detecting a failure of a transmitter or receiver.

  • Publication number: 20010050963
Abstract: Detectors 106a, 106b detect RF output signals of transmission units 100a, 100b, and output detection signals. A comparator 107 compares the detection signals output from the detectors 106a, 106b and outputs a comparison signal. On the basis of the comparison signal output from the comparator 107, a delay amount control circuit 108 controls delay circuits 102a, 102b so that the modulation timing is coincident at the transmission output terminal.

  • Patent number: 5555442
Abstract: In a radio blind zone system, a master unit and a slave unit are respectively situated at an existing station and a radio blind zone and connected together by a coaxial transmission path. The master unit feeds a load current to the slave unit which includes a relay amplifying device or a tower-top amplifying device. The master unit is capable of detecting an error occurred in the slave unit by detecting a change in the load current applied to the slave unit.

  • Patent number: 5487176
Abstract: A reception amplifier failure detecting device includes an antenna sharing unit, a reception amplifier, a receiver, an electric field detecting section, a transmitter, a power control section, and a failure detecting section. The antenna sharing unit demultiplexes a transmission signal from a transmission system to an antenna and a reception signal from the antenna to a reception system. The reception amplifier amplifies the reception signal. The receiver receives an output signal from the reception amplifier. The electric field detecting section detects the electric field strength of a signal received by the receiver. The transmitter outputs a transmission signal to the antenna via the antenna sharing unit. The power control section controls the transmission power of the transmitter on the basis of a standard transmission value, and outputs transmission power information.
