  • Publication number: 20230374798
Abstract: The racking system comprises at least one rack and a mobile scaffold, the scaffold comprising a frame defining opposite first and second sides, a platform carried by the frame, for supporting a person above ground, a scaffold guide member carried by the frame on the first side, a rack guide member carried by the rack which is complementary to the scaffold guide member, with the scaffold guide member releasably engaging the rack guide member such that the scaffold is retained against the rack and is guided along the rack while allowing the scaffold to be movable along the rack, and a support member carried by the frame for allowing releasable support of the frame by either one of the rack and the ground. The frame is linked to a single rack of the racking system.

  • Publication number: 20210267133
Abstract: The combined grow rack and ventilation system for plants comprises one or more grow racks that each define local aerated cells each corresponding to one shelf of the grow racks, for the plants to grow therein. A grow rack ventilation system is provided that includes a cell gas supply duct at each the aerated cell, with an inlet for connection to a gas supply and an outlet, to supply gas to the aerated cell. The ventilation system also includes a cell gas evacuation duct at each the aerated cell, with an inlet disposed near the aerated cell for evacuating gas from the aerated cell, and a discharge outlet. The system also includes a positive pressure device providing positive pressure in each the cell gas supply duct, and a negative pressure device providing negative pressure in each the cell gas evacuation duct. Local forced gas flows are formed distinctly at each the aerated cells for both supplying and evacuating gas locally at each the aerated cell.

  • Publication number: 20040210464
Abstract: A system, computer product and method is provided for establishing labour standards at a workplace. The system and computer product includes a travel calculation facility that facilitates the calculation of the time required to travel along a specified path at the workplace. The system and computer product also includes a task calculation facility that permits a user to build formulae for calculating the time required to complete a task using a formula element repository. The system and computer product enable the combination of the time required to complete a task with the time required to travel the path involved in completing the task to define the time that it should take in total to complete a task including travel time. The method of the invention involves the use of the travel calculation facility and task calculation facility to define the labour standards for the workplace.

  • Patent number: 4806925
Abstract: A semaphore for use in a detection system for a high voltage device and for signalling a predetermined state of the device. The semaphore comprises a housing supporting therein a retroreflector element. The housing has an aperture and the retroreflector has a reflective surface supported in a alignment with the aperture. The housing is mounted in close proximity to the device. A linkage is associated with the housing and the device and is actuated upon the occurrence of a predetermined condition whereby to expose the reflective surface in the housing for the reflection of signals through the apertures. A remote scanning device continuously generates infrared signals in the direction of the aperture and detects reflective signals from the reflective surface.
