  • Patent number: 7445661
Abstract: The fumes from gas turbine TG are cooled by heat exchangers E1, E2, E01, E02 and E03 and compressed by compressors C1 and C2. The cold and high-pressure fumes are depleted in carbon dioxide in treating plant 10. The carbon dioxide can be injected into an underground reservoir. The fumes depleted in carbon dioxide are heated by heat exchangers E1 and E2, and expanded by turbines T2, then T1. In particular, after expansion in turbine T2 and before expansion in turbine T1, the fumes are heated using the heat of the fumes from compressor C2.

  • Patent number: 7309382
Abstract: The gas to be processed, flowing in through line 10, contains impurities. This gas is contacted in column C1 with a solvent flowing in through line 18. The scrubbed gas is discharged through line 19. The impurity-laden solvent recovered through line 12 is regenerated by expansion, then by distillation in column C2. The invention proposes carrying out expansion by means of two-phase turbines T1 and T2.

  • Publication number: 20070039380
Abstract: The device 1 for determining the hydraulic roughness of the internal surface of a pipe 2 has a trolley 4 with wheels 3. Drum 5 is mounted to be rotationally movable on trolley 4. The roughness is determined by measuring the resisting torque of drum 5 or by measuring the dynamic pressure given by Pitot tubes 11. The translationally movable trolley 4 has the advantage of being able to measure the roughness at different points in pipe 2.

  • Patent number: 6276902
Abstract: A system for compressing one or more fluids (F1, F2) with one of the fluids being essentially gaseous. A single-phase compression unit (20) is fed gaseous fluid (F1) from a delivery line (21). A multiphase compression unit (24) receives both fluids (F1, F2). A delivery line (22) delivers gaseous fluid to the multiphase compression unit and a delivery line (23) feeds the other fluid F2 to the multiphase compression unit (24). A discharge line connects to the multiphase compression unit. The single phase compression unit allows operation of the multiphase compression unit within a two-phase efficiency range.
