  • Publication number: 20140120161
Abstract: A vector for the oral administration of at least one pharmacologically active substance enabling the active substance to move from the intestinal lumen to the blood, optionally via interstitial liquid, without any substantial degradation of the substance, includes an essentially hydrophilic matrix having an outer surface which is modified by one or several chemical species providing the vector with an essentially lipophilic quality and containing one or several active substances. The vector is associated with a gastroresistant vehicle enabling it to pass into the stomach without any denaturation and/or degradation of the active substance. The invention also relates to pharmaceutical compositions containing the vector. The vectors can be used to produce medicaments used in human or veterinary medicine.

  • Patent number: 8586143
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of grafting, by covalent bonding, hollow or solid composite capsules onto any type of natural, artificial or synthetic, organic or inorganic, support, the capsules being chemically, physically or physico-chemically modified, so as possibly to improve their affinity with the support and to functionalize them, and then grafted, after the capsules and/or the support have been activated. The invention also relates to the capsules thus modified, to the supports grafted by the capsules, especially fibres and textiles, and also to the use of these grafted supports, especially fibres and textiles, for making up what are called “functional” articles.

  • Publication number: 20110223242
Abstract: The invention relates to nanoparticles comprising a matrix containing at least one polysaccharide as well as the peptide P140 having the sequence SEQ ID NO: 1 or an analog thereof, said polysaccharide preferably being a polysaccharide bearing one or more negatively-charged functional groups. The invention also relates to a carrier for oral administration that comprises a carrier including at least one nanoparticle as defined above and either containing or not containing a dispersant.

  • Publication number: 20060216354
Abstract: A vector for the oral administration of at least one pharmacologically active substance enabling the active substance to move from the intestinal lumen to the blood, optionally via intersticial liquid, without any substantial degradation of the substance, includes an essentially hydrophilic matrix having an outer surface which is modified by one or several chemical species providing the vector with an essentially lipophilic quality and containing one or several active substances. The vector is associated with a gastro-resistant vehicle enabling it to pass into the stomach without any denaturation and/or degradation of the active substance. The invention also relates to pharmaceutical compositions containing the vector. The vectors can be used to produce medicaments used in human or veterinary medicine.

  • Publication number: 20050106232
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of preparing composite capsules by means of interfacial polycondensation in a dispersed medium of at least two different monomers. The invention is characterised in that the aforementioned polycondensation is performed in a gas in the liquid and/or supercritical state. The composite capsules thus obtained can be used in the pharmaceutical, veterinary, phytosanitary or cosmetic fields for the delayed, controlled, prolonged and/or controlled release and/or the vectorisation of active principle(s) contained therein.

  • Patent number: 6060880
Abstract: A contactless position sensor includes a Hall effect cell and a magnetic circuit formed by a permanent magnet and two pole pieces. The magnet and the cell are juxtaposed between the pole pieces. The pole pieces have active surfaces opposite the cell with respect to the magnet. This layout makes it possible to directly obtain an output signal proportional to the distance separating the active surfaces from the target.

  • Patent number: 5820100
Abstract: An electromagnetic linear actuator having a stationary annular assembly with a magnetic outer shell and a magnetic inner core. Monostable or bistable control components may be mounted interchangeably between the outer shell and inner core. An assembly which is moveable in the axis of the annular assembly includes two magnetic plates which face the extremities of the annular assembly and a rod which is mounted so that it can slide inside the core. The first core is made of a material chosen for its frictional characteristics. The actuator may be used to control the valve of a regulator in the fuel supply circuit of a satellite engine.
