  • Publication number: 20180087745
Abstract: A lighting module, able to form a light beam along an optical axis, notably for a motor vehicle, having a body made of transparent material. The lighting module includes a first light rays input surface and a first reflection surfaceable to reflect to one or more focuses the light rays coming from the first input surface. A dioptric reflection folder surface essentially is extended along the optical axis and forms a cut-off edge at the level of the focus or focuses. Also included is a second light rays input surface, opposite to the first input surface with respect to the optical axis and a second reflection surface able to reflect the light rays coming from the second input surface towards the cut-off edge.

  • Publication number: 20180058651
Abstract: An optical module for motor vehicle including at least one light source capable of emitting an initial light beam and a primary optical means capable of receiving the initial light beam and having a cutoff member arranged to transform the initial light beam into a secondary light beam oriented in a longitudinal direction and exhibiting a predetermined bottom cutoff extending overall transversely. A projection means is arranged to project a final light beam exhibiting a top cutoff formed by an inverted image of the secondary light beam with cutoff, wherein the primary optical means has a light deflection member arranged to deflect a part of the light rays of the initial light beam below the cutoff of the secondary beam toward the projection means.

  • Patent number: 9574731
Abstract: The light guide for an automobile lighting device having at least one coupler having at least two input faces arranged so that, when a light source is positioned at a predetermined point in relation to the coupler, for each of the input faces, all the rays from the source passing geometrically through the point and penetrating into the guide through the input face are refracted there in mutually parallel planes.

  • Publication number: 20170038023
Abstract: A light-emitting module, notably for a motor vehicle, including a translucent or transparent material body having an entry face for light rays produced by one or more light sources, a first reflection face with an edge for cutting off the rays coming from the entry face, a second reflection face for reflecting toward the exit face rays coming from the first reflection face, and an exit face for the light rays in an exit beam along an optical axis of the light emitting module. The invention also relates to a headlight including at least one such light-emitting module.

  • Publication number: 20170030543
Abstract: A lighting system for a motor vehicle comprising at least one primary optical device for emitting a light beam exhibiting a cutoff profile, the primary optical emission device comprising at least one light source and one single-piece primary optical member comprising an input surface suitable for receiving a light beam emitted by the light source, a ray interception surface configured to form the cutoff profile in the light beam received and an output surface for the light beam. This system also comprises a projection device arranged downstream of the primary optical emission device(s) and comprising an input surface arranged facing the primary optical emission device(s), and through which are introduced rays of the light beam derived as output from the primary optical emission device(s); a single continuous output surface through which the light beam is projected.

  • Publication number: 20170030542
Abstract: A lighting device, notably for a motor vehicle, comprising at least one module having an optical axis O, each module having: a light source configured to emit a light beam in an overall direction substantially forming a secant to the optical axis O and a light orientation guide adapted to direct the light beam emitted by the light source in a manner substantially parallel to said optical axis O at the output of said the light orientation guide and adapted to form a cut-off in the light beam. The lighting device comprises a single portion for the output of the light beam, the output surface of which is continuously curved and is common to all the modules.
