    Abstract: A metering valve for delivering pasty mediums includes a valve housing having an inlet opening and an outlet opening, with a variable flow restrictor therebetween. The flow restrictor has one or more holes for connecting the inlet opening to the outlet opening. At least one hole can be intermittently placed between the inlet and the outlet to reduce the effective cross section of the hole.
