  • Publication number: 20240135272
Abstract: A device, system and method for distributing and locally persisting provider objects is provided. A first device provides, in a provider object stream, first indications of first provider objects, generated and locally persisted in association with a first region, to a second device associated with a second region. The first device receives, in the stream, from the second device, second indications of second provider objects generated locally persisted in association with the second region, the second indications including respective identifiers identifying the second region. The first device: discards given second provider objects, indicated by the second indications, which do not meet a local persistence condition; and locally persists other second provider objects, as indicated by the second indications, which meet the local persistence condition, the other second provider objects locally persisted in association with the first region.

  • Publication number: 20230181539
Abstract: Coronaviridae is a family of enveloped, positive-sense, single-stranded RNA viruses. The emergence of a new beta-coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 has led to a major health-related crisis associated with a significant mortality in intensive care units, due to the pulmonary complications of COVID-19. The inventors showed that BAY-2402234 is suitable for inhibiting replication of coronavirus and thus would be suitable for the treatment of infections mediated by said type of virus.

  • Patent number: 9794371
Abstract: Managing a Personal Security Device (PSD) includes retrieving proprietary information from a remote storage location using a first Remote Computer System, providing at least one Client as a host to the PSD and establishing a communications pipe over a first network between the PSD and the Remote Computer System. The communications pipe communicates with the PSD through the Client. Managing a PSD also includes transmitting the proprietary information from the Remote Computer System to the PSD by sending a PSD-formatted message through the communications pipe, where the proprietary information provided in the PSD-formatted message and passing through the Client is at least partially inaccessible by the Client, processing the PSD-formatted messages at the PSD to extract the proprietary information and storing the proprietary information in the PSD.
