  • Patent number: 4746307
Abstract: A coaxial cable transmission system is provided in which the coaxial cable is pre-equipped with tapping sleeves fixed to the coaxial cable and spaced apart along its length at a predetermined pitch, each sleeve-tapping box pair including mutual positioning and fixing means, each sleeve provided with at least one closable central well for passing and guiding therethrough a central connecting element associated with the tapping box and intended for making contact with the central conductor of the coaxial cable.

  • Patent number: 4742433
Abstract: An input card (7) is put in communication with apparatuses (16) the operation of which is to be monitored in order to initiate certain operations. A terminal-box (13) is interposed between the card (7), which possesses detector circuits (17), and the members (16).The two ends of each circuit (17) are associated with a respective inner terminal (12) of the terminal-box (13), and the two ends of each member (16) are associated with a respective outer terminal (14) of the terminal-box (13). Shunts (19,21) mounted in the terminal-box and connected to supply terminals (14a,14b) put one of the ends of each circuit (17) or member (16) at a common potential. The other terminal of each member (16) is connected to the other terminal of a circuit (17) by means of a connection (18).The invention is used to avoid the need for auxiliary terminal-boxes and cards with a common potential point.

  • Patent number: 4595250
Abstract: Modular apparatus for coded interconnection between electronic cards and a printed circuit board, eliminates the risks of incorrect connection between a housing (9) containing a program card (8) and the bottom (1) of an auto-control container containing the printed circuit (4) and having rows of connections (6) for receiving male connections (7) arranged on one of the edges of the card (8) to connect them to the circuit (4). For each housing (9) and each row (6), the device comprises four rotary members (13, 16). The members (13) each carry a finger (17) which can engage in an orifice (18) in the members (16) when the angular positions between the members (13, 16) correspond to one another. The invention is used to make it easier to code the elements of a programmable auto-control.

  • Patent number: 4595249
Abstract: A container (1) for an auto-control possesses a bottom (2) carrying a printed circuit (3), to which connecting blocks (8) are fastened. The bottom (2) extends between two flank walls (34). The other two walls of the container (1) are latticed and consist of slides (11) intended for guiding the input/output cards towards the blocks (8). The bottom (2) also incorporates an inner wall (13) interposed between the circuit (3) and the interior of the container. The blocks (8) are laid against the periphery of apertures (14) and are accessible via these from the interior of the container (1). Each slide (11) carries a stud (31) engaged in a perforation (24) in one of the blocks (8). Adjacent the wall (13), the slides (11) have a certain play (J) between them. At their other end, they abut against one another. The invention is used to allow the slides to follow, for example, movements of thermal origin experienced by the circuit (3), without however fastening the slides to the latter.

  • Patent number: 3939382
Abstract: The invention relates to a chassis intended to hold electronic modules which use printed circuit boards. The chassis includes upper and lower supports for the boards which have slide-ways to guide the boards, and also serve to align connectors and secure them to front and rear upper and lower cross-pieces of the chassis. The supports snap or latch onto the cross-pieces by means of mouths which are orientated at right-angles to one another. The chassis may be employed in industrial automation control systems.
