  • Patent number: 10392803
Abstract: A composite I-truss is provided, that comprises a pair of top and bottom flanges and an extending intermediate web having a first end secured to the first flange and a second end secured to the second flange. Each flange comprises one or more longitudinal beams secured to the flange connectors. The web comprises at least a pair of flange connectors extending away from the flange and toward the web. The web comprises a plurality of linking struts located at a plurality of longitudinal positions along a length of the I-truss and connecting the flange connectors of the first flange to the flange connectors of the second flange.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 12, 2016
Date of Patent: August 27, 2019
    Assignee: 9306-1695 QUÉBEC INC.

  • Patent number: 7292608
Abstract: The present invention relates to methods and systems for transferring SONET/SDH frames between nodes by mapping the SONET/SDH frames onto individual channels of data and transferring the SONET/SDH frames over parallel transmission links. More particularly, the methods for transferring SONET/SDH frames includes transmitting SONET/SDH frames and receiving SONET/SDH frames using a transceiver module.

  • Patent number: 6937568
Abstract: The rate at which a node transmits data is modified dependent on the receive rate by selecting one of a plurality of predetermined quantum values dependent on the difference between the number of bytes received and the number of bytes transmitted. An offset equal to the difference between the number of bytes transmitted and the number of bytes received is compared to a predetermined threshold value. A predetermined quantum value is selected dependent on the result of the comparison. Rate shaping is applied to the transmit data by halting data transmission for an inter-gap interval dependent on the selected quantum value.

  • Patent number: 6854031
Abstract: A configurable interconnect for use with high-speed electronic system components. The interconnect uses a lightweight protocol with control characters embedded into the data stream. The control characters define events such as end of packet, end of packet with error, transmit on, transmit off, synchronizing codes, and pass-through status. In one described embodiment, the protocol is used in an internetworking device node in which a pair of high-speed counter rotating rings transport data packets. The high-speed interconnect permits data packets to pass through the node without the delays which might otherwise be experienced with time division multiplex bus structures and the like.
