  • Publication number: 20050217260
Abstract: An electro-hydraulic system for operating a cooling fan and providing hydraulic fluid to a power steering system of the vehicle includes a hydraulic pump unit including first and second fixed displacement pumps and a common drive shaft for these pumps. A hydraulic fluid reservoir is connected to the inlet of each of the pumps. A priority valve is operatively connected to the outlet of the first pump and has an outlet connectible to the power steering system. This valve also has a second outlet connectible to a hydraulic motor for the cooling fan. This valve is arranged to provide a constant flow of hydraulic fluid to the power steering system. A hydraulic line connects an outlet of the second pump to the hydraulic motor. Hydraulic fluid flow through this line is combined with hydraulic fluid flow from the first pump to drive the motor.

  • Patent number: 6644672
Abstract: A set of replacement skates for a scooter. The replacement skates are designed such that each replacement skate can replace a wheel on the scooter. Each replacement skate includes both a skate blade and a support structure. The support structure has two cross-sectional areas. The first cross-sectional sectional area is larger than the second cross-sectional sectional area such that the first cross-sectional area is oriented away from the scooter and the second cross-sectional area is oriented toward the footboard of the scooter. A kit may also be provided with a front end replacement skate and a rear end replacement skate. Both replacement skates have attachment means for fastening the skates to the scooter using the seine pins and fasteners used to attach the wheels.

  • Patent number: 4534139
Abstract: Sandblasting machine which includes a container for the sand, the bottom end of which is in communication with a sand flow-regulating valve, in turn communicating with a mixing chamber for the compressed air and sand. The outlet of said mixing chamber consists of the inner end of a hose serving to feed the air-sand mixture to the sandblasting nozzle. This inner end of the hose forms a valve seat, which, in conjunction with a ball member, forms a shut-off valve for the sand and air mixture. This shut-off valve is operated by a pneumatic cylinder remotely controlled at the sandblasting nozzle. The inner end of the hose may easily be periodically cut when the abrasive action of the sand wears it out.
