  • Publication number: 20250108527
Abstract: A knife system including a blade, a blade support, and a blade tool. The blade includes a cutting edge, a blade connector, and a blade holder opening. The blade support includes a handle and a blade carrier. The blade carrier releasably connects to the blade connector to mount the blade to the blade support. The blade tool includes a blade tool compartment that receives the blade. The blade tool is able to flex the blade to enable the blade carrier to connect to the blade connector to mount the blade to the blade support and to disconnect from the blade connector to separate the blade and the blade support. The blade tool includes a blade holder receivable in the blade holder opening of the blade to prevent the blade from moving with the blade support when the blade carrier is connected to and disconnected from the blade.

  • Publication number: 20140276100
Abstract: A system is provided for sensing an analyte in a breath sample. The system includes a breath bag, a cartridge and a base. The breath bag contains the breath sample. The bag includes a mouthpiece fixedly disposed on the breath bag. The cartridge includes an interactant that reacts with the analyte and generates a change in an optical characteristic relative to a reference. The base includes a flow path, a breath bag receiver for detachably receiving and retaining the mouthpiece of the breath bag in fluid communication with the flow path, and a cartridge receiver that detachably receives and retains the cartridge in the base, such that the base engages the cartridge so that the interactant is in fluid communication with the flow path.

  • Patent number: 8287794
Abstract: A conveyor or other transport mechanism is provided to support multiple, sequential builds from a three-dimensional fabrication machine. The conveyor may be heated/cooled, coated, or otherwise treated to assist in adhesion during a build, as well as removal of objects after a build. Each fabricated object may be automatically removed from the conveyor as the conveyor moves in order to restore a buildable surface for fabrication of additional objects.
