  • Publication number: 20240367330
Abstract: A gripping system for grabbing and releasing an object using a robotic arm includes a gripper body for operably engaging the robotic arm. The gripper body includes a vacuum pathway, a vacuum source connector operably coupled to the vacuum pathway, and a compressed air source connector. A plurality of compensators are configured to extend and retract relative to the gripper body. Each one of the compensators is configured for being placed in communication with the vacuum pathway when the compensator is in the extended position and for being isolated from the vacuum pathway when the compensator is in the retracted position.

  • Publication number: 20240267507
Abstract: A system for visualization includes a camera rig having a plurality of cameras that capture images from one or more perspectives; and at least two visual guides defining a volumetric space within an environment that may be physical, virtual, and/or a hybrid of the two and associated with the camera rig. The volumetric space is updated based on changes to one or more parameters associated with camera rig, manually, automatically, and/or in real-time.

  • Patent number: 11601633
Abstract: A system and method for creating an improved three-dimensional image includes several steps. One step includes providing one or more adjacent viewing zones, where each of the adjacent viewing zones includes several views of content, and where the adjacent viewing zones include central subset zones that include centrally located views within the adjacent viewing zones, and transition subset views that include views at edges of the adjacent viewing zones. Another step includes inserting at least one of the views from the central subset views into the transition zone to create an expanded transition zone. A further step includes removing at least one transition subset view from the adjacent viewing zone and replacing the removed at least one transition subset view with the inserted at least one of the views from the central subset views.

  • Patent number: 9114473
Abstract: Disclosed is a robot pre-heat and inter-pass welding device that is capable of pre-heating and welding one or more weld joints using a single robot. Pre-heating and welding models are used to ensure that a desirable pre-heat temperature is maintained on the weld piece at the location of the weld. Infrared temperature sensors are utilized to detect temperature of the weld piece, which are transmitted to a controller, which controls the operation of both the pre-heating and welding. Multiple welds can be performed if additional time is needed for cooling, which reduces the overall time required to perform the welding process.
