Abstract: A liquification system for an organic waste management system includes a hopper that is oriented vertically such that organic waste added to the hopper is biased by gravity toward a bottom end of the hopper; an agitator that is disposed within the hopper and is movable in a first rotational direction that moves organic waste downward and in a second rotational direction that moves organic waste upward; a motor configured to selectively move the agitator in the first and second rotational directions under control of the controller; and a side grinding and drainage system disposed toward the bottom end of the hopper and preferably on a tapered portion of the hopper for grinding and liquefying organic waste.

Abstract: An actuator assembly includes an actuator drive source and a gust lock. The actuator drive source is operable to supply an actuator drive torque to drive a component. The gust lock is movable between a locked position, in which rotation of the drive source is prevented, and an unlocked position, in which rotation of the drive source is not prevented. The gust lock includes a lock shaft, a lock rotor, a lock motor, and a linear actuator. The lock shaft is rotatable with the drive source when the gust lock is in the unlocked position. The lock rotor is rotatable with the lock shaft. The lock motor is configured to supply a lock drive torque. The linear actuator is coupled to receive the lock drive torque and is configured, upon receipt of the lock drive torque, to move between an engaged position and a disengaged position.

Abstract: Systems and methods of pre-fetching data for applications in a computer system that are terminated or suspended and may be pre-launched by the computer system are disclosed. The applications may employ data that is remote from the computer system and available from a third party content resource. A method for pre-fetching such remote data comprises associating a set of application with such data and/or its location; determining a set of pre-fetching conditions, determining which applications may be pre-fetched and pre-fetching the data, if pre-fetch conditions meet a desired pre-fetch policy. A predictive module or technique may be used to identify those applications which may be pre-launched. The present system may comprise a pre-fetch success module capable of measuring the success data for a current pre-fetch and associating such success data with an application to improve future pre-fetches.

The game pieces may be one or more of divided, joined, swapped and captured during play. A process for playing a game of strategy is also described. A winning position for a game of strategy includes a contiguous chain of game pieces of a single color that extends from one or both of the left side to the right side and the top side to the bottom side of a playing field. A notation system for describing the moves of play is also described.

Abstract: A device for automatically discharging ingots from a stack of ingots is disclosed that includes a frame, a lift device positioned within the frame, a platform rotatably coupled to the lift device, and a discharge mechanism coupled to the frame. The automatic ingot discharging device of the present invention is utilized to reduce the time and labor required to move ingots from one location to another in a casting facility, and thus, increase the production efficiency for manufacturing cast objects.
