  • Publication number: 20230000191
Abstract: A semi-permanent lash extension, applied in segments distributed laterally, includes individual filaments of preselected density, length, and curl radius bonded to or embedded into a substrate. Adhesive may be integral with the substrate, applied to it during or after manufacture, or in multiple layers to secure filaments to the substrates or the assembly to lashes of a wearer. Double-sided tape may do both. A semi-permanent lash extension, applied by a consumer, includes a pre-applied adhesive and provides for quick, easy application.

  • Publication number: 20170347731
Abstract: A system for maintaining eyelash extensions includes a plurality of components for use throughout the life of a set of eyelash extensions. These components may include a sealer formulated for use just after the extensions have been applied, a sealer and thickener formulated for use after eyelash extensions have started to fall out and a thickener formulated for use after the eyelash extensions have thinned considerably (i.e., few are remaining) and until the individual can have her eyelash extensions filled or replaced. Components of the system that are formulated for initial use and through the middle of the lifetime of the eyelash extensions (e.g., the sealer and the sealer/thickener) may be formulated to nourish the eyelashes and to seal each extension and the natural eyelash to which each extension is adhered.

  • Publication number: 20160219959
Abstract: A support for holding individual eyelash extensions includes a tray that is configured to be positioned on the back of an individual's hand and/or wrist, as well as an attachment member associated with the tray to secure the tray in place on the back of the individual's hand and/or wrist. The tray includes a surface for holding individual eyelash extensions. More specifically, the surface may be configured to receive a strip that carries individual eyelash extensions and to cause the individual eyelash extensions to fan out in a manner that makes them easy to individually grasp. Methods for applying eyelash extensions to a person's natural eyelashes are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 8701685
Abstract: An eyelash extension system includes an extension strip with a backing and a plurality of eyelash extensions. Each extension has a proximal end and a distal end. The proximal end of each extension is joined to the backing and distal end of each extension extends away from the backing. The system also includes an extension tray with at least one curved extension attachment surface to receive the extension strip such that adhering the extension strip to the curved extension attachment surface spreads the distal ends of the extensions farther apart than the proximal ends of the extensions joined to the backing.
