  • Patent number: 11939800
Abstract: A cover plate according to certain embodiments is configured for use with a mounting plate and a control system, and has a front side and a rear side opposite the front side. The cover plate includes a support substrate, a cover plate coupler, and an electronic device. The support substrate includes an opening sized and shaped to receive a spindle of a door hardware apparatus associated with the rose assembly. The cover plate coupler is configured to releasably couple with a mounting plate coupler of the mounting plate. The electronic device is mounted to the support substrate, and includes a first electrical connector accessible from the rear side of the cover plate and configured for electrical connection with a second electrical connector of the control system, and an electronic component electrically connected with the first electrical connector.

  • Patent number: 9637171
Abstract: A frame rail for a vehicle has a pair of elongated structural members, each one of the pair of elongated structural members having flanges protruding from lateral edges thereof. The flanges of one of the pair of elongated structural members extend in a direction toward the flanges of the other one of the pair of elongated structural members. The frame rail also has first and second metallic web panels interconnecting the pair of elongated structural members. Overall, the frame rail has a box beam structure, wherein at least a major portion of each one of the first and second metallic web panels has a material thickness that is less than a material thickness of at least a major portion of each one of the pair of elongated structural members.

  • Publication number: 20140230886
Abstract: A solar assembly is provided for harnessing solar rays and generating electricity. The solar assembly includes at least one vertical leg extending in a vertical direction and having an upper attachment end. The assembly also includes at least one north-south rail and a plurality of east-west rails extending generally transversely to the north-south rail. A curved member interconnects the vertical leg with the north-south rail and extends through an arcuate shape. The solar assembly also includes a plurality of generally flat arrays of solar panels, such as photovoltaic panels, are coupled to the east-west members. The orientation of the solar panels relative to a base or the ground is dependent on the location along the curved member of the connection with the vertical leg.

  • Publication number: 20130152915
Abstract: A solar collector system is provided including a bearing assembly comprising a plurality of wheels or rollers for rollingly engaging a large-diameter support element. Rotation of the large-diameter support element supports tracking of the position of the sun relative to the solar collector system. The bearing assembly may be pre-assembled to the large-diameter support element before the solar collector system leaves the factory, thereby facilitating assembly of the solar collector system in the field, even under adverse conditions.
