Abstract: A scalable continuous integration (CI) system and/or method may be provided to manage and implement a plurality of code changes submitted in a code base. In particular, the scalable CI system may use a divide-and-conquer approach in which a set or a queue of code changes may be divided into smaller sets/queues of code changes. The division may continue recursively until the rate of defect introduction per change set, the rate of change set delivery per time, and the pipeline latency in the divided sets/queues satisfy a particular threshold. Change sets in the divided sets/queues that fail particular quality constraints may be removed from the divided sets/queues. After the failed change sets have been removed, the divided sets/queues may be recombined back into one set/queue.

Abstract: A system and method are disclosed for streamlined battlefield direction of remote fire support. An exemplary method includes the steps of designating a target, designating a friendly soldier location, transmitting information about the target and the soldier location to a battlefield computer, determining by the battlefield computer available forms of fire support, formatting the target and soldier information in formats compatible with available forms of fire support, selecting at least one of the forms of fire support and transmitting the formatted target and soldier information to the selected form or fire support to call in a strike on the target.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method of operation of a programmable audio device. The method includes: (a) initializing and starting a countdown timer; (b) playing a stored audio file; (c) determining if the countdown timer has elapsed and, if not, continue playing the stored audio file until the countdown timer elapses; (d) in response to the countdown timer elapsing, pause playing the audio file and play a message file; and (e) following step (d), continue playing the paused audio file.

Abstract: Systems and methods allow flyers to determine which airport lounges they may access. A flyer specifies an airport and access rules for lounges at the airport are applied to user data of the flyer to identify accessible lounges. A listing of the identified lounges is then displayed to the flyer. Systems and methods further allow management of airport lounge inventory. Inventory can be managed to increase occupancy, as well as to evenly distribute flyers within and across airport lounges.

Abstract: Systems and methods for generating a viewer-specific visitor history for a location are provided. In particular, a visitor history for a particular viewer and location can indicate a total number of users who have visited the location and can specifically identify one or more of a set of users using a facepile. The set of specifically identified users can be those users that have an associative link with the viewer and that are also associated with at least one location signal for the given location and for which the particular viewer is a permitted viewer. Thus, location signals having varying scopes of visibility information can be aggregated across a plurality of different web-services to provide a single, unified visitor history for a particular location and viewer, all while respecting user-specified visibility information.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided that permit merchants, venue owners, and other entities defined within a location-based system to communicate with users. Additional communication capabilities are provided in a location-based service that permits merchants and other entities to engage users in different ways. One or more advertisers, merchants or other entities may be able to send messages to one or more users. For instance, if a user visits a venue more than a certain number of times in total, visits or “checks-in” to that venue over a period of time, indicates that the user follows or “likes” a particular venue or merchant, or performs some other activity with the location-based network, that merchant may be provided a vehicle for sending messages to those users. Targeted messages may be sent responsive to any information used in the location-based service, including active or passive user activity.

Abstract: A system and method for determining the genetic data for one or a small set of cells, or from fragmentary DNA, where a limited quantity of genetic data is available. Genetic data for the target individual is acquired and amplified using known methods, and poorly measured base pairs, missing alleles and missing regions are reconstructed using expected similarities between the target genome and the genome of genetically related subjects. In accordance with one embodiment of the invention, incomplete genetic data from an embryonic cell is reconstructed using the more complete genetic data from a larger sample of diploid cells from one or both parents, with or without genetic data from haploid cells from one or both parents, and/or genetic data taken from other related individuals.

Light therapy is delivered to the subject in the form of electromagnetic radiation that is emitted by the light therapy device onto the face of the subject in accordance with a predetermined light therapy algorithm. More particularly, the form factor of the light therapy device enables the light therapy device to be used discretely and comfortably while the subject is awake and/or asleep.

Preferred embodiments of the present invention allow for the placement of a stimulating electrode in the ear canal while providing a firm and comfortable coupling with the patient. The stimulating electrode is a deformable material that contacts the skin in the ear canal. A stimulating device operates in cooperation with the stimulating electrode to generate a stimulation waveform for the stimulation of the vestibular system.

Abstract: An exhaust port assembly comprising a conduit carries a flow of gas. A vent assembly having a fixed exhaust area is provided on the conduit for venting a flow of exhaust gas from within the conduit to ambient atmosphere. The vent assembly is configured so as to minimize noise associated with the flow of exhaust gas passing to atmosphere, diffuse the flow of exhaust gas passing to ambient atmosphere over a relatively large area, and minimize the area occupied by the venting assembly on the conduit.

Abstract: A sewing tape especially adapted to provide a measured sewing guide line when using a sewing machine. The tape is in the form of a strip provided with cuts extending through the tip for separating the tape into ribbons of predetermined thickness and has suitable guide lines printed thereon some of which coincide with the cuts. The tape is held together by pressure sensitive adhesive coated on one surface of the tape which is wound under tension.
