  • Patent number: 11738864
Abstract: An apparatus providing continuous tilt and variable pitch for rotors on a fixed wing VTOL aircraft. An actuator on a housing rotates a first pivot point on a motor mount to tilt a motor to horizontal and vertical positions. Simultaneously, an actuator on the motor mount rotates a fork on a second pivot point on the motor mount to adjust the pitch of the rotors attached to a free end of the motor's drive shaft. A lower swash plate on the drive shaft is attached to the fork. An upper swash plate on the drive shaft is attached to the rotors. The swash plates are attached to each other with a shaft bushing attached to a shaft ball bearing. The shaft bushing allows both swash plates to move linearly along the shaft when the fork is rotated. The shaft ball bearing allows the upper swash plate to rotate with the drive shaft while the lower swash plate remains stationary.

  • Patent number: 10208824
Abstract: A suspension assembly having a shaft with a first end and a second end. The first end of the shaft is mounted to a force receiving member. The shaft is translatable within a linear bearing, which is mounted to a support member. A first magnet is mounted to the force receiving member and a second magnet is mounted to the support member. A shaft collar is mounted to the second end of the shaft. The first and second magnets are adapted to provide a magnetic force against a force applied to the force receiving member.

  • Publication number: 20170212055
Abstract: The disclosure describes various embodiments that utilize optical sensor to characterize attributes of a liquid. Some sensor configuration continue to function properly even after scaling begins to reduce the visibility of photochemical sensors that measure the attributes of the liquid. This allows significantly longer continuous operating periods and lower maintenance costs.
